Water spilled on the display

Hello,
This is a common indication that the power supply board has bad filter capacitors. When the capacitors go out the power board can not start up correctly so you get either a white screen, a flashing power light and no display, a flickering display or no power at all. The repair is easy, it just requires replacing the bad capacitors on the power supply board. About 10 minutes and a little soldering and your monitor should be as good as new. if the display is totally black the cause is either dead back light or the power inverter get bad. if has a white screen but no picture it was a lcd controller board problem.

there is no other way except getting a new screen but a local phone repair shop would more than likely be cheaper than sony ericsson service centre

If it is 32 or below ,ice if above 32 it will dry up in an hour or so.

Try connecting and external display screen to your laptop's external display port. If the external display is working, then try to access your laptop display connector (usually can access by removing the top power button access cover and/or the keyboard assembly) to the motherboard and disconnect and reconnect to motherboard. Power laptop back on, if still doesn't work, then could be the display invertor pcb or the actual display. If you have to order a display, make sure the display invertor board comes with it. i recently broke my nokia N73 screen, (drunk) haha.

the screen was all cracked and black.

if its just a white screen or black screen id say its a broken screen you have on your hands, there not to dear to by new, it could jsut be the cable that has broke which goes onto the chipboard inside the phone, which still requires a new screen. :)

change dispaly in control anel dispaly screen resolution to 1024*768
type in run "control"

Hey man, thanks for coming to me. Um yea, massaging may help but too hard will do damage since it is LCD is Liquid Crystal Display and it is fragile and easy to damage. The water should clear up in a few months, if not i would look at replacing it which can be costly. Here is a link to fix your unstuck pixels

Now im not liking that bit about how you mentioned was spreading so leave it for about two days, give the therapy for the screen a try and let me know if the laptop screen is healing. For the moment if you have one i recommend you hook up a VGA Monitor, old school stuff if you can and give the LCD a rest. I will post as a solution but comment back and i will keep helping you as much as you need it.

unfortunately since the problem is on the hardware (lcd screen), there is no way of fixing it except from the people of the service center. 

That's a problem with the dispaly of ur phone just go to service centre and let them check its a hardware problem. and at the dame time ask them to flash ur handset.
