I have a Samsung YP-T6 MP3 player (1GB). When I turn it on, it loads to 100% but then it shuts off. I know it's not the battery but don't know what else to do. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!
I have had the same problem several times. Each time I needed to flash the firmware. Go to Samsung.com support > download center > type in the model number (yp-mt6) click on firmware, and download the version that corresponds with your device. install the firmware updater on your computer, plug in your device. and flash the firmware. (this will erase ALL songs and settings so you will want to back those up first). After that its like brand new. Kepe the updater handy, I fixed this the first time, and it kept reoccuring every few months.

Use the Samsung Firmware Updater to fix it. Mine did what all of you are speaking about. I was ready to toss it then I tried the firmware updater on the CD and it fixed it. You must copy all the files from the \setup\Programs\ and \setup\Binary\ folders on the Samsung CD to a folder on your hard drive. Then connect the player via USB and run stupdaterapp.exe. It will search for the device and pop up a menu. Check the Format Data Are box and click start. It takes a few minutes and wipes the device clean but it fixed mine.

the samsung website does have it...just type in your model number when you get to the 'download center', which is located under 'support'.

If you can´t format your pendrive from my computer (mi pc) do this:
go to control panel (panel de control), administrative tools (herramientas administrativas), device administration (administración de dispositivos). Then, right click on your pendrive and click format. that´s all
