Lay the TV face down on a flat surface covered with a cloth. Back out all the screws holding the base stand. Hold the back and front against the base shank while tightening all the screws through the base. Make sure they are tight.

yes humidity has been known to make the panel seperate. I live in south tx and work for sony, alot of panels that show that prob is usually the panel seperating. wouldnt recomend to fix to costly around 85% the cost of when you bought it.

Hi there,
We had the same problem, we just wiggled it back and forth, gave it a good tug, and hey presto! We got it out. I'm not sure whether this is the "official" method of doing it, as nothing is mentioned in the instruction manuals.
