Used phone yesterday, all was fine. Put on charger last night. Will not turn on this morning. Teturned to charger and while on charger, large white battery icon appears. Progress bar appears at the bottom of the screen. When progress bar is full, the Inside of battery fills up with 3 red blocks, one at a time. Then the blocks disappear one at a time and the phone's screen turns black. Then the process starts all over again. The phone is a Samsung A-747. Is my problem the phone or the battery?

The problem is most likely the battery which you can purchase HERE

It's more of a personal choice of if you want to try purchasing a battery or upgrading your phone. You can then put your SIM card in the new phone and it's as simple as that. (phone must be for the same service provider as the old one)
