CASIO PCR 260. I couldn't change the Tax rate from 8.5% to 9.5%.

Go to the following website and download the operator's manuel. Go to page 13 for resetting the tax!

The tax can be set through the help menu. Press HELP then select 2 for tax and it will lead you through.

I think that model has a help mode built into it through a button on the top right corner of the keyboard.

turn the key to program, hit 3 subtotal, then "help"

You need to set one rate for HST and change your department links to look at the single rate. Which tax numbers do you use at the moment? E.g. tax1 PST, tax2, GST. We need to know which tax numbers are allocated for which tax types.

Key to Program enter 3 subtotal 1 tax pgm (tax rate with decimal) cash tend subtotal.
ie 7.35%
3subtotal1 tax pgm 7.35 cash tend subtotal
