I called Jardine Enterprises and they said they would email me a manual . Call them at 1-800-295-1980 and provide them with the model number and mfg date of your crib and they will send you a manual via email.

Question, which way does the mattress support part go...The framed side up or framed side down so the top surface is flat? I ask b.c the mfg sticker says the mattress should be 27-1/4 width but my Simmons 27 inch mattress doesnt fit into the frame. I measured the mattress support part and it was only around 26 and a bit inches. There is no way my mattress would fit inside the framed mattress support..Does anyone else have this problem? Could someone measure theirs and let me know? I thought I could flip ithe mattress support part over and attach as the under side is a flat surface?? Just a thought

*Product Recall* Certain Mfg Dates for the Olympia 4 in 1 crib have been recalled. Wooden crib slats can break, creating a gap, which can pose an entrapment and strangulation hazard to infants and toddlers. http://www4.toysrus.com/safety/292475.cfm

We have a Morigeau-Lepine convertable crib-day bed-full size bed, but we are missing the instructions to convert it to the full-size. It's model number is DA722-BC & the model is somewhere between...

I can't offer the exact answer, but hopefully my suggestions will be helpful...

Converting the crib to a full-size bed should actually be a fairly simple process of detaching the 4 sides that make the crib, and replacing the 2 short sides with the full-size bed rails that were sold separately in a conversion kit. The 2 long sides of the crib become the headboard and footboard of the full-size bed.

Unfortunately, it's only a simple process if you already have the full-size conversion kit bed rails. And since Morigeau-Lepine went out of business, they aren't making any more conversion kits. If you don't have the full-size bed rails, then this could be quite difficult.

It's possible that some stores that used to sell Morigeau-Lepine cribs might still have a conversion kit hidden somewhere in the back of their stock room or warehouse. You could try calling around to a few of your local stores to ask if they would check for you. It's a long shot, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

If you have the rails, or are lucky enough to find them, then it should be as simple as locating the screws that hold the crib sides together, removing them (most likely with an appropriatly sized hex-key,) and putting the screws back through the headboard and footboard into the bed rails. (I'm really just assuming that it works the same as the Babi Italia conversion.) If no screws are visible, or if removing them doesn't detach the crib sides, then they are probably also held together with locking bed rail fasteners. To release the fasteners, remove any visible screws, then push upwards on the short side rail while pushing down on the long side rail. You might have to tap the rail up with a rubber mallot to get it moving.

If you don't have the full-size bed rails, and you can't find them anywhere, your only option may be to build them yourself, or find a woodworker to build them for you. Search online for "Bed Rail Fasteners" and you'll see several options for hardware, but they might require modifying the headboard and footboard as well. Full-size matresses are 75 inches long, so you'll want the length of your rails to accomodate (ours are 77 inches long.)

I hope I've been helpful. Good luck!

Need instruction on how to convert our Jardine Biella Crib DJ104BC into a toddler bed. Thank you

I ended up calling the store where I purchased the Crib and asked for instructions. They told me to remove the footboard basicly the front part of the crib and then placed the daybed board on it. Done... once I was able to remove the front part the rest just fell into place.

Simplicity Ellis Crib Combo to Fullsize Bed

Is it the full size bed frame that goes to that bed because if it is not it will not attach. It will only attach to the special boards you had to order from them. You can try this email I have for them, but I am unsure if they are in business anymore. I know they were connected with Graco so if the email does not work you can try Graco for a manual. The email I have is [email protected]

I lost my instrction manual!

Step 1: Detach the front panel from the 2 front post using an allen wrench
Step 2: If the mattress support is not in the lowest position unscrew the bolts and move it to the lowest position
Step 3: Using the allen wrench, attach the guard rail using 4 bolts between the lest and right front post (the guard rail would be that extra piece that you couldn't do anything with while the bed was converted to a crib. Looks kinda like a wooden board)
Step 4: Tighten all screws and put the crib mattress back in

Instructions To Convert Jardine Madison Life Time Crib

To convert your crib to a Full Size bed you will need to purchase a set of full size bed rails (hook style for headboard and foot board). You can find this at any discount mattress store, or furniture outlet, it can range in price from $39.99 - $99.99. To install the rails you will see slots with bars on the headboard/footboard, this is where the hooks on the rails slide into. There are no bolts used to secure the rails to the headboard/footboard.

Jardine enterprises does not make a wood rail kit as was shown in some of the earlier ads for the Madison line of convertible cribs, and do not waste your time ordering the rail kit from Babies-R-Us as it is simply a metal rail kit (which you may be able to get cheaper at a local furniture/mattress store).

Use the lower daybed rail between the two front posts for the foot board. Another option for the full-size conversion is to purchase the metal rails (hook style) for a headboard only and not even bother with a foot board.

If you are still unsure of what you need to do for the full-size conversion please feel free to email me at [email protected].
