Does the 2652 constantly burn LPG when in gas mode. For some reason (probably told so erroneously?) I was under the impression that the fridge automatically switches off and on the LPG flow/ignited as it needs to maintain a temp setting.

The RM2652 should shut down when the fridge reaches proper temperature. So yes the flame should go out when operating on propane. If the refrigerator does not get cold enough, then the flame will not ever shut down. It is posible that you may require a replacement cooling unit. WEB SITE: ArctiCold Refrigeration We keep it cold

SOURCE: FRIDGE WILL NOT IGNITE IN GAS MODE

The part you are looking for is the thermo couple. It senses the heat from the flame and holds the gas valve open. The clicking will try three times and then go into lock out. You then will need to reset on the front of the fridge. When installing the thermo couple do not over tighten.

SOURCE: RM2652 fridge works on 110 and gas but won't switch between them

Remove the upper control board panel. Use a small screw driver, open the freezer door, under the control panel you will see a slot on each side. Put the screw driver in the slot and push up. That side of the panel will pull out. Do the same on the other side. Turn the control panel over and unplug the circuit board and wait 15 seconds. Plug the board back in and give that a try. If that does not work replace the upper board. To order a board you will need Model, Serial and product # found on the inside of the fridge.

SOURCE: Dometic R/M 2652 stopped working...burning smell and smoke

First of all any signs of burning on a circuit board means that a component has burnout in which case replacement will be required. Secondly depending on the colour of the stain , if its a dark colour the systems heaters are cooked in which case the cork insulation has melted the tare off and thats what you see on the floor. if its clear and oil based , the container has rusted and formed a leak ,in any of these scenarios its time to get a new one

SOURCE: Dometic 2811 gas/AC refrigerator poor operation on gas mode.

Your gas valve is sticking. Could be a bad thermocouple.
Set it to come on, then with a screwdriver handle or something similar, tap, tap, tap gently on the gas valve to see if it lights.
Once it unsticks it should operate OK.
If it does not unstick, replace the gas valve.

When opening my fridge it smells like gas is this bad

If the fridge runs on LPG it can mean that there is a gas leak. Which can be bad because it can explode. LPG smells like rotten eggs. So if that is the smell have the fridge checked out.

Hi i have a 2000 1.6 astra van which melted a piston running on lpg i now have engine repaired but wondering why it done this! does the lpg unit need calibrated and does anybody know wat it would cost? any...

A melted piston can come from many different reasons. It could have been a (1) bad head gasket, and coolant being introduced into the cyl. (2) Low coolant and the piston being one of the center 2 pistons, in this case it will over heat. LPG gas usually runs cooler that reg. gas and would have to be running very lean to burn the top or cause a melt down. LPG systems are very easy to adjust, and the computer should handle most of the adj. alone. Did a shop repair your engine? They should have given you some reason for the melt down. If you suspect your fuel delivery system is out of calibration have it checked buy the best you can find, as for a cost I think you are looking at $180 to $240 depending on how proficient they are on the system. You may have to pay a bit for their learning curve.

My fredge rm 2652 not working

You need to check your fuses on the fuse panel inside your coach. The frig will not operate on gas or electric without 12 volt power to the frig circuit board.

M2800 fridge

If it doesn't click or the light doesn't flicker it is probably either you don't have good strong 12 volt power getting to the fridge(12 volt required only to light on gas the first time) or else the little gas igniter module went out looks like this only sometimes black.

Now if it won't stay lit. It is something wrong with either your flame or your thermocouple. First try just blowing out the the flu right where the flame comes out blow compressed air in so if there is dirt or cobweb in there it comes out the back side. If that doesn't help disconnect your thermocouple and wipe the end and then connect it back up and tighten it. If it still wont stay lit still replace the thermocouple.

Magna 3.5 on LPG Duel Fuel

LPG fueled vehicles are inherently "cold-natured" due to the temperature drop when the "liquid" gas under pressure reverts to gaseous state causing a frost build up around nozzles and jets. The only solutions are to start on pump gas until up to operating temperature and the switch fuels, or allow the engine to warm up to operating temperature on LP gas before driving, thus avoiding the stall point.
