SOURCE: can't connect wireless stereo to sylvania 6620LF4

Hi, Ok, I now understand what the problem is. Sorry I missed the fact that it is due to no audio outputs on the TV. The audio board is designed to power low impedance speakers and doesn't have a big power amp to drive them. I do not have a schematic of that particular TV so I do not know how the headphone jack is wired. The way it basically works is, when you insert the plug, the tip pushes a contact away from another contact thus making one circuit and breaking another. You can test this externally by inserting an unwired plug or look at it from the inside and bridge the tip connection. I would only advise this if you have some technical skills. Other than that the thing is working like it was designed, they don't want you to use both. Sorry, I hate to give this type of news, but I am one of the only ones who will. Good Luck to you!

SOURCE: No sound from external speakers system

Look into your monitor settings and computer settings and see if you can reverse the "input" and "output". If both are set to line in or line out then they pretty much cancell themselves out.

Looking for old Logitech S-100 driver

These are analog speakers and do not need a driver. First, make sure they're plugged into the speaker/headphone jack and not the microphone jack. Second, make sure the computer's sound output is enabled and set the headphone/speaker jack. Third, verify that the sound output is working by plugging in a headphone set or a different pair of speakers. If the computer sound checks out, the speaker cable is bad or the power supply is not working.

When plugging in a wireless headphone in the audio output the tv's speakers shut down. How can I stop this

The speaker cutout feature whenever the headphone jack is connected is a hard-wired feature of the headphone connector, and cannot normally be bypassed without further electronic circuitry and the associated surgery to install a custom modification in the TV. In order to keep the TV speakers on while using the sound elsewhere, you will have to take the audio output from the IR Audio port, if there is one.

Sentry 2.1 surround sound speaker system. i have my rca cords plugged in to my tv, but i only get sound from my tv, nothing out of the speaker itself. it only works when i have my headphone jack into

Most televisions have a setting that controls whether the TV uses its internal speakers or sends the sound to the audio out jacks for an external amplifier or speakers.
Try going through the settings menu and follow through the audio/speaker selections and confirm that the TV is set to use external speakers.

Adding remote control activated ''mute'' to TV headphone jack

Generally when the head phone jack is inserted the speakers will get disconnected automatically.

If you are going to use external amplifier you can try the AV sockets. Opening the TV you may require the special screw drivers some times.

How do i connect my headphones? when i use a red/white tulip - jack out cable and then connect the headphones jackplug there is no sound, using the 'variable sound out'. should i use an amplifier like a...

If your TV does not have headphone jack outlet, then there is not much you can do, the Audio line level out RED and WHTIE RCA jaks are not made to drive headphone directly, it does not have enough power to drive low impedance load such as headphone which has about 8~32 Ohms impedance, the line out RCA is made to drive high impedance load 20,000 Ohms and higher.
If you want to use headphone, what you can do is to get cheap powered PC speaker system that has headphone out jack, then just connect the powered PC speaker to the audio line out of the TV, but the TV must have an option on the audio setup to turn off the built-in speakers.
