Just set a second tax rate. the machine will have up to four rates that can be set. Then link the second tax to that product just like you did with the first.
It should be the same as most Casio registers:

Type new characters

For the other three lines, use code 232, 332, and 432

t2000 has a built in help mode...turn the key to program, hit 3 subtotal, then press HELP on the top right side of the keyboard.

Hi. You are working in the wrong area. You need to tell each department not to add TAX2. Go to the department programming, and there should be a setting that says use tax1, use tax 2 etc. Turn off tax2 for any depts that you don't want it added and it will no longer print or calculate tax 2 for that department.
