Question about Dell Inspiron 530 Desktop Computer
I have a dell inspiron 530 desktop which has started locking up as soon as you turn it on. After pressing the power button, it beeps, the Dell screen comes up, and that's it. It is frozen on the Dell screen. The motherboard in this unit is the Foxconn G33M02, and there is a single LED on it glowing which is amber. I suspect the motherboard is gacked, but I'm not a technician, so I thought I'd run it by the experts first.
Thanks for your time,
If the LED is glowing Amber then there is definitely something wrong with the hardware. Open up the system and check to make sure that all cables are plugged into the motherboard securely. If they are, you have faulty hardware somewhere. I would take it into a repair shop and see if they can locate the fault.
