I have a Casio Sea Pathfinder Triple Sensor Watch, and I rely on accurate tide info, but the nearest reference city it lists is Boston, and I live in Saint Augustine, FL. I'm just trying to get the tide settings a little closer to home. GMT,LON,INT.

This could be caused by damage to one of the filtering films for the display. Did the crystal experience severe pressure or heat at some stage? I'd take it to a service center to have the crystal film checked or just live with it. Maybe the film will recover over time if not abused.

mcdevito75 here, I've never heard of a tide clock or adjustment or timeing for tide cahnges. The tide changes every 6 hours with 45 minutes at the end of that 6 hours rest you could say before the change of the tide. Refer to your local newspaper or fishing supply outlet for tide schedule.

There is this little spring which fits in one of the small holes in the watch. When I tested my watch without the spring, there was no beep. With the spring in place the sound worked nice again. So (IMO) apparently the little spring is used as contact between the watch en the "speaker" placed at the back of the watch.

If you look at the GMT differential in the manual, you'll notice that it corresponds to the offset from GMT that your time zone resides in. I live in San Antonio but i don't see that on the list. I do know that when we're not in Daylight savings time, I'm -6.0 from GMT... so that's what i set it for. Also, if you're near enough to the coast to use this feature, it would probably be a good idea to compare the watch reading to the actual tides and adjust accordingly.
