When you turn your Acer on, there are some options in the very beginning that say "press F9 to enter boot menu" or "press F10" or "press F11" you just need to find out which of the F's is the key to the boot menu. When you already know that just click it 5-7 times while it's loading and you must enter the boot setup menu.

How to enter boot menu on a lenovo think center M73 computer

This can depend on your OS. For slower booting systems, press and release F12 repeatedly after pressing the power button. Release the button when you see the Choose Boot Device screen. Select the boot device and press Enter. (Note: some systems may not boot from all USB devices or CD/DVDs if they are set for a type of secure boot (UEFI).)

With some systems, you may need to enter the BIOS setup utility to allow the system to boot from a specific device. Try pressing F1 repeatedly after pressing the power button until you hear a lot of beeps or a splash screen. If there is a password for the setup utility, you'll need to enter that password. If you reach the Windows lock screen or the desktop, you missed the timing. Under Windows 10, go to the power icon in the Start menu (on the lower left). Press shift and click Restart. You will see an option for entering the BIOS on restart. Select this and wait. Once in the Setup utility look for the boot menu. You can change the order of the list. Press the correct buttons for save and exit to boot to the desired device.

I hope this helps.

(Note: some wireless keyboards may not work in the setup utility. Make sure that a wired keyboard isn't plugged into a USB 3.0 port if you need to load a USB driver to enable the port.)

How to change to a different date in advanced booting options

To change your system date through Advanced Booting options, you first need to enter BIOS setup menu of your system. To enter BIOS setup menu and to change your system date, you can follow the instructions below:
1.Boot your system and enter BIOS setup menu using the designated key. Though the key to enter BIOS may vary depending upon the computer manufacturer, usually keys like Delete, F12, F10, and F2 are designated to enable a user to enter BIOS setup. To know how to identify the key your system is designated to enter BIOS setup, you can refer to the image under "Method 1 of 3: Enter the BIOS" section on the following webpage:
Important: Following link is of a third-party website. We recommend you to update your security software thoroughly before clicking on the link.

2.As soon as you identify the BIOS setup key, strike it rapidly and repeatedly (while the booting is on) till the time you enter BIOS setup menu. You may get just a few seconds to do this. If you are not able to enter BIOS setup menu by pressing the key repeatedly, reboot your system and follow the same steps again to enter BIOS setup menu.
Note: BIOS menu do not support mouse input. Hence, you will have to navigate through the menu using the arrow keys on your keyboard.
3.Once you enter BIOS setup menu, you can change the date of your system by going to "System Date" option. This option is generally located in the "Main" section of the menu.
Important: The layout of BIOS menu varies from manufacturer to manufacturer but most of them share a few common settings. If you are not able to detect "System Date" option in the "Main" section of the menu, you may need to look into other sections to locate the option.
To get a pictorial explanation of the above steps, you can refer to the following link:

Hope this will resolve your issue.

    Install to pc

Power on the computer and enter the BIOS menu. It will tell you which button to press to enter setup. Generally it will be F1, F2 F10 F12 or Del.
At this point you can insert your operating system disc.
In BIOS navigate the menus and look for Boot Order, or similar Make sure CD/DVD boots before anything else
Press whichever key the menu states to save and exit (Probably F10)
When the computer boots it should either start booting to the installation setup or ask you to press any key to enter installation. Do so and follow the prompts to install your operating system.

Dell Ispriron E1505 has a display message, invalid configuration information Please run setup program but won't go into setup. Machine goes to preparing setup menu and then screen goes grey and machine...

Try removing both memory sticks and then booting up with just one installed. The bios should notice a shift in the amount of memory and prompt you to enter the bios.

Let me know if that works.

    How to install windows

You need the windows CD to install windows, insert the cd in drive and press enter when asked to press anykey to start from cd.
if you don't get the start from cd and the windows setup doesn't start then most likely your computer is not set to startup from a cd drive, look in the cornerts of your computer screen look for boot menu or press this to enter setup / bios

you can either use the setup / bios or the boot menu and boot from the cd.

if you use the boot menu, make sure the cd is in the drive and select the drive from the list

if you don't find boot menu or it doens't work go into the bios / setup and you will need to change the boot order to include the CD drive FIRST before hdd or floppy. consult your motherboard manual or ask me if you need help in the bios.

Change boot order from first hd to cd rom first

when you boot your computer it offers you a chance to enter setup... usually del(ete) key or f11. if neither of those work ... watch as you boot up ... it will show you the key to hit to enter setup.
look for boot options... often in the second menu on the left hand side list.
