It all depends on what kind of metal that it is. Howver there is
welding material for all kinds of metal. If it is plastic you might try
JB Weld It is good and strong on most any thing.

Working on a 1999 dodge stratus and I broke one of the hook tabs on the harmonic balancer trying to pull it off. Now the 3 jaw puller won't grab on the one tab. How can I get it off?

The best way i know of, is to weld on a piece of flat metal so that the puller has something to grab.
Or if your using a cheap puller, you may want to just weld the arm to the balancer (i have done this with a $20 autozone puller)

The driver's seat in my 1989 wagoneer is barely staying connected to the metal down below. you barely push up on it and it's up ontop of the steering wheel. a friend says to weld it in place to the floor....

No this cant be done, there two diffrent seats, i think the best thing is to try and weld it, remove the seat and see if its the track that broke or the floor itself, i just repair one with power seats and the track had a couple of frozen arms and thats what caused seat track to break. i remove the seat and remove track from seat freed frozen linkage arms and welded track all worked out good, hope this helps.

Drivers Power seat broken-the support metal arm-2004 Grand Cher

Should just be 4 bolts holding the seat to the floor, and unplug the wires. Only way to fix it is weld it, or get a different base from an auto wrecker.

Spot welds broke on center disk from the blades

Standard speed is 1075 rpm. You could remove the black wire and hookup blue or red to slow it down. Sounds like to me the set screw just got loose and the wheel slipped. If the wheel is in good condition, simply reset the screw to the flat side of the shaft and tighten it.

Broken hydraulic arm on rear hatch of 2000 Chrysler T & C

if the bolt itself is broke try getting it off with a pair of vice grips if the bolt sticks out enough otherwise you could take it to a welding shop and have them weld a nut onto the bolt so you could get it out and go to the dealer and buy a new one.

The welding on the steering of my jeep broke

Sorry to hear that. For the amount of trouble to return the jeep and try to get a warranty honored, I would look in the phone book for a local welder and have the repair done. It shouldn't cost more than $25.

Stuck pitman arm on a 95 GMC 1500 4x4

This is how I do it. I spray alot of PB Blaster all over the connection and take a large hammer and hit the side of the pitman arm and keep spraying and hitting. It'll come loose and fall off. You have to break up the rust "welding" it together.
