The E5 error code is only referenced by a technician. More than likely it refers to a circuit board problem. Only solution is to have it replaced by a technician.
Ok, this is a controlfault. the issue is will the logic chip set on the control board. the run-time sequence is corrupt. you will need to replace the control on this unit asap if possible.
Check on the back of the machine for a schematic. You will have to go thru the whole circuit looking for the fault. I would check the door switch first. Sometimes a wire will vibrate off, inspect the machine unplugged.
