Sometimes the caseback can be screwed off with your hands by just pressing on your 4 fingers to twist the back off.... Or you can pop the case back off using a small knife on the edge of it. If you look carefully you might find a lip (or gap) where you can slide the tool in to pop it off.

SOURCE: how do you open the back of an antique Elgin pocket watch

You might be able to pop it open with a pocket knife ... don't stab yourself though.

SOURCE: how to take oft the back of a helbros watch

dont know much about helbros but if the back doesnt have a slot to use a small flathead screwdriver to remove the back, take it to a jeweler. if you try it yourself you may scratch the back really bad.

Im in need of two links for the slimline watch braclet

Thank you for contacting FixYa.
You can usually get extra links from JJ/Helbros but for some reason I can not get their website. I would look for a phone # in the manual and call them. They will want the #'s on back of watch.
Best regards. Jewel

Have a waltham pocket watch in an illinois case enameled dial with a recessed seconds dial at bottom with a numeric 6. seconds on face also. can't find year or pic of this watch

If you go to the web site "www.antique-pocket-watch.com/waltham-pocket-watch.html", you will find information about Waltham watches and if you read the serial number off the movement (open the back and read it off the back plate), you may be able to find out the year of manufacture.

Pocket watch stem is broken.

To open the front, try a toothpick in the hole. You will need to get the stem replaced.

To open the back:
Flip the watch over and look around the edge. There will be small slots. A thin blade like a pocket knife will open the back cover. Carefully, put the knife blade into the slot and twist it open. There isn't much user serviceable stuff inside.

Helbros Invincible c.1970 wristwatch hairspring

Take a closer look at the movement, especially under the balance wheel (use an eyeglass). There should be movement code. By that you can find the real movement manufacturer and the hairspring or balance complete will be easier to trace.
