E1 is flashing and the probable cause was not the reason. I have only had the machine for 2 days and I don't know what I could have done to it in that time.

SOURCE: When I push the pressor foot down my machine flashes E1

Is the presser foot lever up or down? It should be down before you step on the foot controller or use the start/stop button.

Husquvana 5610 keeps running when power turned on

Probably has a bad filter capacitor in the connector for the foot control in the back of the machine. If you check with a knowledgeable repair center, they should know of this problem. If they don't have a clue what may be the cause, find someone that knows. Any knowledgeable technician will know of the capacitor that makes the machine run.

I Have a Singer/Futura. While I start to sew the it flashes E1. Don't know what it means. I don't have a booklet.

Go to www.Futura-support.com. You can download a manual there and then you'll have a better chance Since I don't know which Futura model you have, it's hard for me to tell you what the E1 message. means. Find your model on the website and download the appropriate manual. That should give you the answer you need.

Good luck!

Hi i keep getting the E1 error message flash up on the sewing machine, it still sews but it keeps stopping and the E1 error message comes up, what exactly is wrong with it? can you he;lp? Thanks

E1 means that your machine thinks the thread has broken.

There's nothing you can do to fix this: it has to go to an authorised Singer Service Centre for diagnosis and repair. Usually it's a faulty thread sensor.

E1-Error message is apparently the fuse were is

Hi,

The E1 error message. This is due to the fuse having to be switched from the 2.5 amp to a 3.5 amp. they did not recall the machine because of the low cost $2.99.

The Fuse is Located on the Board itself.

I guess the Part Number for your model is 000182177.

You could Purchase that from :-

http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/showPart.pd?partNumber=000182177&productGroupId=0020&supplierId=385&pathTaken=&filterPart=&pop=flush

Let me know, if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

Singer Furtura E1 error message.

Hopefully, you didn't use any bobbins that weren't specifically meant for this machine. Here's the joke-there are special bobbins that that this machine only works with. And anything else gives you a mess.

They're not terribly easy to find, but they are available on eBay. Do a search for Singer Futura CE100 bobbin under crafts. I just bought a bunch from a place called World Weidner in Oklahoma through there. This will hopefully take care of your problem.

Wish I had been on here answering posts for you a number of months ago. If this doesn't help, please leave me a message in comments. If nothing else, I'll buy the bobbins back from you.
