Belt doesnt move when standing - Nordic Track NordicTrack A2550 PRO Treadmill

Hi,

please restart your treadmill without standing on it to see fi the belt moves. If so, please decrease the incline of your treadmill and attempt to ride again. Please check for any debris under the belt (after stopping it) to make sure nothing is impeding it's movement.

it dont matter much.
there are only 3 ways belts come off on all cars. a gander and yes.
a spring tensioner (look see it?) 2 ways to release. ask.
or the belt has stand alone belt mech , non spring, tensioner.
or one of the accessories, that the belt OPERATORS, moves and sets tension on (old cars all did this)

so who to tell, well, you LOOK, at the belt what is it touching.
eyes, follow belt and no spring tensioner, and oops no stand alone
pure mech, tensioner with may be its own pulley.
and you arrive at the alternator, and behold it has 3 point mount and one is adjustable, bingo, or the P/S pump moves.via same 3rd bolt.
those bolts fit slotted guides that are for ADJUSTMENTs.

all this is covered in the FSM, buy one for your car and read
belt changes.

you may have to adjust tension notch at a time and see if it makes any difference.

you need to check voltage going to the motors. no power ,the contoller board is not working. check the connections on the boardmake sure they are in all the way,also the power connections

Put the bike on center stand.
Remove the outer drive belt casing, you will need to remove the normal stand to get at the bolts. A light tap to the side and it will come off.

If the drive belt is snapped, pull it out and make sure nothing is inside.

Loosen the rear pulley, and move it towards the front gear. Slip over the new drive belt and tighten the rear pulley back up. You should aim for around 2-3mm of deflection in the belt. refit the casing and the stand. Start her up and off you go :)

does is just not move when you're standing on it, or not even move when you're not standing on it. It may be a simple belt adjustment or if the motor is running but there's no track movement you may be looking at a loose/broken drive belt. Take the cover off, start it up and look at the motor/drive pulley assembly. If the motor turns and the front roller doesn't, tension the drive motor by moving it back. If the front roller turns but the track doesnt, do a track adjustment as per your users manual.

Sounds like the motor control board. Everything will work properly but belt want move. Clock will even start to count down.

You don't say whether the timer seems to be working but if it does and it's just not agitating or spinning I would check the motor/drive belt. If you find that it is the belt the part is pretty inexpensive and it is relatively easy to replace. Good luck!

SST stands for Special Service Tool. You can usually buy these tools on line of some of them at AutoZone

You will need to use the tool to take tnesion off the belt to replace. I suggest you either take a picture or draw how the belt is routed

my brother changed the roller belt, but now the rollers won't stay up so I can move the cleaner and the water isn't getting sucked up.
