Pairing Problem - BluetoohJabra VBT2050 & LG Shine CU720

I have a Jabra VBT 2050 bluetooth headset. As per the product user manual(page 8) this device is compatible with any bluetooth mobile phones with bluetooth version 1.1 or higher.

My LG Shine CU720 mobile phone is not able to detect the VBT 2050 device. I checked the specification of mobile phone & its bluetooth 1.2. I am able to pair the VBT 2050 with other bluetooth mobile devices.

Could you help me resolve my problem. Appreciate quick help.

I can't get Jabra BT 2050 bluetooth into pairing mode. I follow the instructions but never get the solid light. What can I do?

Booklet instructions for how to pair it with a new device are wrong. It tells you holding the power button will put it into pairing mode but it does not.
Pairing mode is done by turning off the ear piece, then holding both power and answer/hangup at the same time. The LED should flash fast 3 or 4 times and then stay on solid. You might need to hold just power till the very first flash THEN begin holding answer/hangup as well as power till the LED goes constant. I’ve also had luck when frustrated by just holding all 4 buttons at once.

Problem pairing my Jabra vbt 2050 with my blackberry storm

Hold the volume up (+) button down along with the call button for 5-10 seconds (until the led lis solid). Then, while the led is lit up, initiate the pairing on your phone. It should pair this time. It worked for my phone, which was having the same problem you described.

Jabra VBT2050

The above solution only lacks one small item. Part of the pairing procedure is to hold the on/off button for the recommended 5 seconds to power up, but the light will NOT become constant until you hold both the power button AND the round center button on together until the light remains constant. Then you can pair the two devices.

How do I put a Jabra VBT 2050 into discovery mode?

OK, this is what you do: 1. Make sure your Jabra VBT 2050 is fully charged. 2. Enable bluetooth on your phone. 3. Turn on your VBT 2050 with the little button on the side (the white light between the keys should flash). 4. Initiate a search from your phone while holding down the center button on the VBT 2050 (middle, under the + and -). 5. You might need to do another bluetooth search using your phone (it took me about 4 times befor my Blackberry Storm picked up the signal. 6. When your phone asks for a code, type in 0000 (the default number).

Jabra VBT2050 Bluetooth won't pair with LG Voyager

Something similar happened to mine. It worked for 2 months, and my phone received a message from jabra to reset pass key. It did not accept, and it stopped working with my phone. I tried everything. I was told to hold the power down for 10 seconds to place in pairing mode, that did not work. This did. Hold the volume up down and the answer button down at the same time for 7 seconds. You have to make sure they are all down or it will not work. You will see that the light will stay lit continuously. This means it is in pairing mode. Then place the bluetooth on your phone on. Tap find device at the top. It will then locate the jabra. Follow any other prompts. If it asks for a passkey, or code, 0000 will suffice. Hope this helps. I looked for almost an hour and a half for the answer.
