Loose wire, or some dust in a connector. Take it apart again, clean it out again and put it together again. Post again if still not working.

SOURCE: Dell Precision Workstation 670

Try different memory modules ( RAM ) and see if it is just the RAM.

Also take anything else out you dont need - including dedicated graphics card assuming it has onboard graphics card ( if so then enable the onboard graphics card before taking out the dedicated one )

If its still the same then yes it is the motherboard in which case you need the motherboard replacing.

If you did the diagnostics that they walk you through and they still tell you its the motherboard then it will be the motherboard as there diagnostic software is accurate.

SOURCE: I have a broken Dell Precision 470 Workstation.

sounds like a motherboard failure.
Basic troubleshooting, disconnect all external connections except power, see if indications change, if no go remove all expansion cards see if any change, if no go disconnect all drives see if any change. If none, then motherboard.
If at any step you get a change in indications, then see if you can isolate the faulty item

SOURCE: dell precision workstation t7500 won't boot. Showing solid amber.

You may have to reinstall operating system by buying a Dell cd(from amazon) that reinstalls the operating system you had on the workstation.

Is it possible to upgrade the mother board in this computer?

Dell Cases are very often only for Dell boards--connectors not standard--It can be done, but a lot of trouble. If you want to really speed up look for good complete kit from tigerdirect.com--and put it together--Will work A LOT better than what you can buy at stores.

Have purchased 512GB Crucial m4 2.5" SSD for my dell precision t7500 work station will it be working

make sure that your Dell's specs are in line with this drive. if you buy memory or hardware that is newer than the machine it is made for, chances are the technologies will not work together. so you should only replace hardware that is(will) compatible with the generation of PC you put it in.

put in the new drive into its bay connect both cables put the case back together connect all the cables back to the PC boot the System up and reformat the new drive .
