Need to know how to connect the Sound System with 3 other components, which are: A DirectTV Receiver/Model #D12-300, Panasonic VCR/Model #PV-V4525S, and A Sony TV/Model #KV-24FV300. Have followed the Panasonic Surround Sound booklet which ONLY gives connection directions to the t.v. which is completed - How do I do the rest?!
What you have to do is to connected the Direct TV receiver and the Panasonic VCR directly to the TV set. This way when you go to the input on the TV set that this equipment is hooked to, the sound then comes out of the TV set and goes into the surround system through the cable you have coming out of the TV set marked TV out to TV audio input to the surround sound. This surround sound only has a line output, a tape output, and an aux. input. You have only one input to this surround sound unit. You should have at least two separate video and audio inputs on the TV set to use for your other equipment, and to use the other equipment through the surround sound, you simply leave the setting on the surround sound on the TV mode and and switch the different inputs on the TV set. Hi, you need to have 3 pair of audio-in ports for that. i think your sound system has 3 input ports. ie, 1.tv in ->u can connect this to audio out of your tv 2: vcr in ->u can connect this to audio out port of vcr 3: aux in -> this can be connected to your TV Receiver then you can use the soundsystem remote to switch between the source to listen one at a time. pls come back if u have any thing more sreejith

This is the solution I received. But If possible I would like to have a description or diagram (in sequence} of what goes where starting from the cable coming in from the satelite. Thank you
