SOURCE: My Finepix A900 digital camera is turning itself off every time i try to take a picture.

Actually, it may be the batterys. Even top brands like Energiser can have unbelievably short battery life if they are not NiMh! Go onto the FujiFilm website and find the batteries they recommend

SOURCE: I have a brand new Finepix S8100fd camera and the majority of the photos are speckled no matter what setting I use. However the super macro setting rocks and pictures are super clear! My Fuji 7.1 mega

Common issue with the A8100fd. The most likely problem you are having is not enough light. Try shooting in bright sunlight to test the "graininess". Make sure you use the flash anytime the light is not bright. Even though the camera will shoot in low light (without flash), because it defaults to a high ISO setting, which (just like film) accentuates the "grain", or more properly termed in digital photography, "noise". Set the camera for a low ISO setting and use the flash whenever you see the "red hand" symbol on the screen.

If this is not the issue, please describe specifically which buttons are not workin...

SOURCE: lens will not close when camera is turned off

May be there is some spec of dust stuck in the lens well. You must use your vacuum cleaner to pull out the dust from around the lens housing while powering the camera on and off.

I don't know how to charge my fujifilm ax600 series

The AX600 is a camera, not a battery charger. It uses standard AA batteries, disposable or rechargeable. If you use rechargeable batteries, you need to charge them outside the camera using a separate battery charger.

Just put new batteries in lens came out n then it says turn off & turn bk on nowt happens

Try resetting the camera by removing thebattery for 15 mins. Then install the fully charged battery in the camera andgo to the menu and set the Date and Time.If this does not work then this camera needs to be sent away forrepairs. Just like a motor vehicle, some repairs to your camera require atechnical specialist to fix your problem.

FinePix F700

Hello

The problem is that the lens has become stuck in the barrel. There are some DIY solutions you could try, but the probability is that you will have to get it fixed by a professional.

Use these at own risk as it may further damage the camera.

Firstly , try connecting your ac adapter or usb cable.

Try holding the shutter button while switching on the camera.

Look at the lens , and if some of the lens 'circles' is misaligned or not concentric then try wiggling it (while holding camera lens down).

Try gently pushing or pulling the lens when it extends but this is risky as it may cause the lens barrel to slip out of its guidance system.

Another way to do this is to place the camera lens down on a hard surface and then power it up. Be sure to use a soft cloth or something similar as to not scratch your lens or casing. Let the lens push the camera up and down a few times and sometimes the little resistance provided by the camera is enough to get things going again.

Try hitting your camera near the lens on the body with the soft tissue on the palm of your hand.

Other than that , I would take the camera to a repair center for a evaluation to see if it would cost more to repair than to replace the camera.

If it is still under warranty I would suggest you take it in before trying any of these steps and remove any off-brand batteries or accessories as some stores are really fussy about warranty repairs on camera's with non-brand accessories.

Hope the advise is useful. please do not hesitate to let me know if you need any further assistance. Also, please be so kind to let me know if you found this helpful.

Camera wont turn on, intermittent red power coming on

This may or may not work (it's primarily a trick for certain Canon cameras with similar symptoms). Remove the cameras battery, then remove the memory card. Insert a BRAND NEW or fully charged rechargeable batteries. DO NOT insert the memory card. Instead, just turn on the camera. If the lens retracts, turn off the camera, insert the memory card, then restart the camera.

If this doesn't work, here are some other things to try. But don't get your hopes up, as they only seem to work for little less than half the cameras with similar problems:
