Code pf came up and the washer does nothing

I am not familiar with any error code referencing "LP". Could you be seeing "LF"?
Below are the error codes listed for your washer:

• "LF" (Long Fill) Inlet hoses are kinked or clogged or water valve screens are not clear. (Solution: Straighten inlet hoses or clear screens of any foreign material.)
• "LD" (Long Drain) Drain hose is kinked or clogged. (Solution: Straighten or unclog hose.)
• "FF" (Fill Failure) Problem with water level sensing system. (Solution: Call for service.)
• "OL" (Open Lid) Lid Is open during drain or spin. (Solution: Close lid.)
• "PF" (Power Failure) Power to washer went off during cycle. (Solution: Press any pad to clear the display. Restart the washer from the beginning of the cycle.)

bad lid switch

usually a broken lid switch if it fills with water and then nothing,set the timer on spin and pull out the timer,open the lid and stick a screw driver into the hole where the plastic acuator on the lid goes into the hole and push down easily and see if washer will run this is where the lid switch is and it's only a safety switch so when the lid is open the washer won't run,if not push up and down on the switch and listen for a clicking sound,no click switch is bad part number 285671,watch video

I think the control board is at fault

The PF error code indicates a power failure. This might occur while machine is working due to an external disturbance like a storm or power outage in the area. If the PF error code is displayed, turn off the power to the washer, unplug it for 10 seconds, and restart the wash cycle. If the error code continues to present after these steps have been taken, then the washer may require service.

PF means power failure
the power must have went out in your home some time during the day or night
