1. Disconnect your player from its power source for thirty seconds
2. Reconnect your player to its power source
3. Press the Power On button on your remote control
4. Press the Enter button on your remote control
5. Press the 8 button on your remote control
6. Press the 4 button on your remote control
7. Press the 2 button on your remote control
8. Press the 6 button on your remote control
9. Press the 9 button on your remote control
10. Press the Enter button on your remote control
11. Your player should now place itself in Standby mode
12. Press the Power On button on your remote control

It should also work for HT-Z310T and HT-510T and its variantes...

I have a Samsung HTC 550 home theatre system. It's set to region one and I've tried everything to make it region free to no avail. I want to watch a region 2 DVD. Can you help??

1. Open tray and remove any disks in tray.
2. Close tray.
3. Switch Off Player and unplug from power. wait 30 seconds (this clears RAM)
4. Reconnect to power.
5. Turn on player with remote.
6. Press ENTER on remote. (ignore message on screen)
7. Press 8, 4, 2, 6, 9 using keys on remote. (if your player is already set to region 2)
8. Press ENTER on remote.
9. Wait until player finishes processing. (approx 15 seconds)
10. Turn off power from remote.
11. Turn power back on with remote.

Player is now Region Free.

or

Turn on with remote control without disc.
When message "No disk" appears, press on the remote,
ENTER,
8,4,2,6,9
ENTER,
If hack work after the second ENTER player will power off automatic.
When power on again this was region free, I can confirm now read region 1, 2 and 4.
tip

Region free code for LG 3000

Code 1:

Press the Pause button on your remote control.
Using your remote control enter the code 3, 1, 4, 1, 5 and 9.
Press the 0 button on your remote control for Region free, 1 for Region 1 or 2 for Region 2.
Press the Pause button on your remote control.
Power off your player and wait a few seconds.
Power on your player

Code 2:

Press the Setup button on your remote control then, Step, Next, Up and Down.
Select the region of your choice or Bypass for region free.
Save and then Exit the menu.

I need to reset the region code on a samsung home cinema system HT-X200

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Please follow this procedure to reset the region code (or to make it region free).
Open tray and remove any disks in tray, then Close the tray. 1. Switch Off Player and Unplug from mains wait 30 seconds (this clears RAM) 2. Reconnect to mains 3. Turn on player with remote. 4. Press ENTER on remote. 5. Press 8, 4, 2, 6, 9. Using keys on remote.if your player is already set to region 2 6. Press ENTER on remote. (The tray will open and player will power off and close tray.) 7. Switch on power from remote. 8. Player is now Region Free. Allows both region 1 & 2 DVD's to play.

Hi,
Try this
1. Disconnect your player from its main power source for 30seconds
2.Reconnect your player to its power source
3.Press the power on button on your remote control
4.Press the Enter button on your remote control
5.Press 8,4,2,6 and 9
6.Press Enter on remote control and the your player will place itself on standby mode
7.press the power on button on remote control.

Want to play my old DVDs from overseas, but I get a region code error.

Try the following:

1. Open tray and remove any disks in tray.

Free regions code

Hi,I've found this on another forum, and I'm considering buying a Z510 not sure what differnce there might be with Z510T... Check this out and if it works for u then I'll know I have the hack before I buy it, otherwise I'l go for another model... Hope it solves ur problems too V
I've tried in mine Z210T - should work as well in the Z510T and Z310T - and it works perfectly (originally region 4). 

1. Disconnect your player from its power source for thirty seconds 
2. Reconnect your player to its power source 
3. Press the Power On button on your remote control 
4. Select DVD and wait for the NO DISC on TV 
5. Press the Enter button on your remote control 
6. Press the 8 button on your remote control 
7. Press the 4 button on your remote control 
8. Press the 2 button on your remote control 
9. Press the 6 button on your remote control 
10. Press the 9 button on your remote control 
11. Press the Enter button on your remote control 
12. Your player should now place itself in Standby mode (Good-Bye appears in the display and the device turn off) 
13. Turn on the HT and try your DVDs from other regions!

7" LG Portable DVD Player DP271

Hi
I have tried to unlock the DVD DP271 player using following methods, But it is not unlocking. If any body knows any other code. Please help me to un lock my DVD DP271 player.

1. Power up and press setup
2 Scroll down to LOCK
3 Press '0' (zero) seven times
4. A message may now appear with saying that the player is region free.
5. Power down then power up.

1. Remove any discs and power up the DVD
2. Press PAUSE
3. Enter 314159
4. The hidden region code menu may now appear.
5. Set code you want- 0 for multiregion, 1 for region 1 and so on
6. Press PAUSE
7. Power down then power up

Your player is now region free. A word of caution is that you may have disc eject issues, in which case you will have to eject from the unit, or toggle the power switch on/off. Dvd-r problems

Unplug your AC power cord for a minimum of 30 seconds to clear the RAM. The RAM is used solely for dvd class history, and clearing this should solve your issue. If you want to convert your player to region free, which will allow you to play ANY dvd: 1 Disconnect your player from its power source for thirty seconds 2) Reconnect your player to its power source 3) Press the Power On button on your remote control 4) Press the Enter button on your remote control 5) Press the 8 button on your remote control 6 Press the 4 button on your remote control 7) Press the 2 button on your remote control 8) Press the 6 button on your remote control 9) Press the 9 button on your remote control 10)Press the Enter button on your remote control 11)Your player should now place itself in Standby mode 12)Press the Power On button on your remote control A word of caution if your convert your player is that disc eject issues may arise in which you will have to eject from the unit, or toggle your power switch on/off.....good luck my friend.
