Question about Motorola Mobility V365 Cellular Phone

1 Answer

Inserted boost mobile sim card into AT&T Motorola V365

Put the battery back in place and turned on the phone. On the screen it read "Enter Subsidy Code" I have no idea what that code would be? If I was able to get the code, would that then let me use the AT&T cell phone, with the Boost mobile sim card?

SGH-A167 SAMSUNG - subsidy unlock code needed

call your carrier. (at&t, verizon etc.) give them your imei number. you can find it under your phone battery on a sticker. it is 15 numbers long. call your carrier and give this code to a mobile customer care representative and they should give you a 8 digit subsidy unlock code. Then once you get your subsidy code power your phone off take the battery out along with the sim card, replace the battery but leave the sim card out and power the phone back on, then when it gets to the menu screen punch in #7465625*638* and after that last star put in the 8 digit subsidy code your carrier gave you and your phone should say network lock deactivated. hope this helps.

Subsidy Unlock code for att lg gr500

Make sure the phone is on so that you can enter the appropriate code. The unlock code is *#865625#.
  • Entering the code

The phone needs to be on for you to enter the appropriate code. You will need to keep the SIM card in the phone so that it recognizes the phone's unlock code. Enter *#865625#. The screen will then ask you if you want to continue. Select yes.

  • Second code

You need to enter the code a second time. So basically, just repeat the first steps mentioned to enter the unlock code given above. Once the code has been entered a second time the screen should read that the 'Network Unlock is Deactivated'. The code and the unlock work for the GSM network, meaning that if you want to use the phone with a different service provider you are now able to.

  • Other unlock

Sometimes one does not want to unlock the phone for GSM network use, but because the keypad is locked. If you have locked the keypad and this is what you want to unlock try the last four digits of the phone number. This is often the default code for the number pad. If that number is unsuccessful consider what you might have personally used as a four digit pin. Most of us use the same number that belongs to our ATM or other device that requires a four digit pin.

If the code provided in the first steps is not the correct one, you may want to look for a sixteen digit code on the back of your phone. It may be on the battery or just behind the battery. It tends to look like a barcode. Sometimes companies use this code as the locking mechanism for the GSM network. Tolearn more you can see our unlock-any-lg

I have a motorola that is asking me for a subsidy password? how can i fix this problem?

To get rid of that message you need to take the following steps.

  1. Obtain a Subsidy Password, also know as an IMEI unlock code. The Motorola subsidy password is an 8 digit code that unlocks your phone for use with other cellular providers. Search Google for Motorola Unlock Codes for a list of retailers. Codes are usually provided within 48 hours, and cost around $30.
  2. *Most providers will not issue the unlock code after your account has been inactive for more that 90 days. They says it is because your account info goes into a "read only" status, and they cannot retrieve the number any longer.*
  3. Enter the IMEI code into the phone. To enter the IMEI code into the phone, all you need to do is insert a SIM card from a different network to the one that your phone is locked to. This will prompt the phone to display "enter subsidy password". Just enter the 8 digit code, and your Motorola phone is unlocked.
