Without remote, i tried to reset my lt 22dk3bj and i have been ask to select a language but no ok key for me to use and i am stuck. Pls i need help

You can try a power reset, remove the mains plug overnight.

Or you buy a new remote. ALL televisions need a remote. You need the model number.

Since the unit is new, your options are:

• unplug from the mains for more than 15 minutes to reset and revert to factory default:
• hard reset - on most LG units, there is a pinhole above the DVInput. With a pin, paperclip or blunt end of the needle, press on the recessed/hidden switch;
• return the unit to point of purchase for replacement.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

is it just the language which has changed or you see any error message on the lcd panel

To change the language settings press the up/down arrow key to select language selection and then press ok.
press the up/down arrow key to select language english and then press ok.
If you want you can reset all setting to default factory settings.
press the up/down arrow key to select reset settings and then press ok.
press the up/down arrow key to select yes and then press ok.

If it is total dead, no lights or anything follow cord inside to the fuse and while there look for damage on power board including puffed up filter caps like these:

You haven't mentioned about the model number of your Philips TV. Different models have different type of tuning procedures. Any way I hereby send a procedure to set it autotuned. If it Doesn't work, please inform me through Fixya, stating your TVs model number also. ok

Press "Menu" on the remote control handset, and select the installation language.
Select a language and confirm it by pressing "OK" button on the remote control.
Press ' button to return to 'Instalation' menu.
Press "Menu" on the remote control handset and select Installtion > Preferences > Location.
Select 'Home" and press "ok" to confirm.
Press ' to come to the Installation menu.

TO TUNE CHANNELS AUTOMATICLY AND TO STORE

Press "Menu" on the remote control, "Select Installation" '>' Channels '>' Autoprogram '>' Start now.
Press "OK" and allow the start installation automatically.

If you run autoprogram when you have locked channels, a messege appears asking to enter your PIN code in order to complete instllation.
Try this, if doesn't work inform me with TVs model number. OK.
