I need to know how to unstack my front load washer and dryer to remove out of the landuray room.

pretty straight forward job. but you need to take front off for access. which means top comes off first. so must unstack washer/dryer. check out repairclinic.com or appliancepartspros.com for how to videos.

stacking was just a gimmick to save space
put the drier on a suitable stand , table or it is possible that there are holes in the back section for a mounting bracket to hang it on a wall

look the really heavy duty floor pads used in horse stables very dense and thicker than anti vib because even it restacked extra weight wont stop the vibration

You do not state the type of stacking kit installed on your Bosch washer. The installation instructions of one of the stacking kits is found at the site Assemby Instructions Bosch Axxis Stacking Kit /WTZ11310.pdf . First remove the front concealment strip to expose the front of the mounting kit. Gently pry with a wooden tool to prevent damage. Once the it is exposed, there are two clip inserts in front of the dryer feet that must be removed. Once these are removed, you pull or slide the dryer forward to release them from the stacking kit and simply lift the dryer off of the stacking kit and the washer. The stacking kit itself is attached to the washing machine with four screws that must be removed to separate the kit from the washer top. And with that, your dryer and washer are separated!

But after separation there are two additional problems that may be bothersome to you. The first is that you now have mounting holes in the top of the washer that are exposed and the second is that the feet on your dryer may need to be replaced as parts of the feet may have been tossed during installation of the stacking kit and may need to be replaced.

The assembly instructions above show only the basic stacking kit. Some kits included a slide that pulls out to allow for a handy tray but the installation or disassembly is nearly the same.

On the model posted this style does not come apart. Only on the front load style can you seperate them.

Hi, you will need to unstack the dryer unfortunately, then remove the three screws at the back of the top washer panel and it will slide back about 2 or 3cm and up away from the unit. Hello. The seal swap isn't too difficult. You may have to unstack. If the washer is on the bottom, you may be able to scoot the dryer back enough to make the repair, but the washer case is like a cabinet; each part depends on the other parts for rigidity. For this reason alone, it would be much safer without several hundred pounds above your head. I'd unstack. That said: You can certainly diy. Unplug the washer. With the door open, look at the bottom of the seal. You'll see a ring clamp. Loosen the screw and remove the clamp. Peel the seal inward. It is easier to complete the seal swap with the front off. Remove the door and set aside. Locate the screws for the front of the machine and remove them, gaining access to the seal. Youcan either set the door to the side with the door lock wires still attached, or unclip them, which is easier. With the seal folded inward, you will likely find another clamp at the bottom. Loosen this as well. Remove the seal and replace with the new one, making sure to orient it like the old one was, and fold it to the inside like you had the old one for removal. Replace the front panel. Complete the seal installation, being careful to make sure that the clamp removed earlier gets put back in the groove and seats well. Reinstall the door. The dryer front is usually held on by two screws in the cabinet just under the top of the dryer. Yes, they'll have to be unstacked and the top on the dryer popped loose to access these screws.

I have a Kenmore 417.69042990 stackable dryer and had a similar problem. To unstack it, in the front of the dryer there are two screws that are covered by round caps. They are easy to miss unless you look for them. Remove the caps, and the screws underneath it. Now, voila, you can lift the front of the dryer and pull as to unlock it from the two brackets in the rear of the dryer. Hope this helps... I took me and my husband over an hour to figure this out...

Chainsaw, no seriously the dryer is bolted to the washer and not all of them can be unstacked. Remove the front panel of the dryer to expose the bolts holding it down. this only works if your washer is of the front loading type. if it is a top loader there should be some sort of frame the dryer is bolted to. after removing the dryer from a front load stack washer, the washer may or may not have a top panel on it
