Yes the 45603 and 45607 will interchange screen component not electronic parts but screen assemblies are the same

un plug the set and use a flashlight and look for evidence of the CRts leaking on the chassis this is a common fault with that model. It will cause a dead set.

yes the regulator has to be solderd into the circuit board.

Check for leaky D980 PART # 264P045040. You also can try to do a self test to get the error codes, search here or on ctechnicians.com

Theres a leaky capacitor on the 9V regulator output line. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you probably shouldn't try but it should be a fairly reasonable repair by a pro. Good Luck

This denotes a problem in the HV power supply and the shutdown circuit shutting down the Tv to prevent damage from a component that is drawing too much current. I would suggest that you have a repair person look at your TV and give you an estimate.
