My sony mp3 nwz-e435 wont charge. when i plugged the usb into my computer it displays that battery is full but when i take it off, it prompts that low battery, please charge... how am i gonna charge it...

    We have two nwz-e435f Walkmans, one we got as a xmas present, and had no receipt for, it would not charge, but indicates a full battery when plugged in, yet unplugged it is as flat as a pancake. Having no reciept we replaced it with another exactly the same, which has exactly the same problem straight from new. Will return the second one to store it was purchased along with the reciept.

For all the new people reading this, its an easy fix. Get an old tooth brush and dip it in some white spirit, then thuroughly clean the connections between the MP3 player and USB cable.

Hey presto, fixed.

My sony nwz e 436f says that I need to charge it but when I plug it into charge, it says Battery full.
I think you are using a USB-Hub. Connect the player directly to the computers USB port. See the manuel on page 100 (English version)

try pushing the reset button this wont delete anything

BATTERY WONT CAHRGE SAYING IT IS FULL WHEN IT IS
Try plugging it into an integrated pc or laptop that has but one manufacturer. Worked for me...wouldn't charge on my 'mixed parts' computer but now is on my one-manufacturer laptop....

   Please find and press the reset button, trying to attach pic but not doing, Any way find reset button in the hole at back og the player. insert some thing in the hole and press the reset and your player work fine again.

Solution// I plugeed it directly into my computer opposed to into the usb hub it was plugged into prior. now, it is charging. Hope this will work for you

Wont Charge
Yeah, I had this problem too because I was connecting the USB proprietory connector/cable at the front USB drives on the computer. If you have been using front USB connecters, try using the back USB drive connecters.

It worked for me :)

Walkman will not charge
Whenever I plug my Walkman into my USB hub, which is connected to my desktop, it too says it's battery is full after just a few seconds. I plugged it directly into my laptop, and it took a charge as normal. Then I plugged it into a different USB port on my desktop, and it again took a charge as normal.
So, if you are using a USB hub, try plugging the Walkman directly into one of the computers USB ports, you may have better luck.

Try another USB port on your computer that fixed the problem for me :) if not try on another computer.
