SOURCE: solve the level the seafood massacre in pc game hit man 3

copied from gamefaqs.com:
Objective 1: Kill the Targets
*****************************

As soon as you can, run to the back of the restaurant, and down the steps to
the basement. Pick the lock, and go through into the other room. Put on the
chef's disguise. Run out of the Basement. At the north of the level is an al-
leyway with a sewer ladder at the end. Run to it. If you've been quick enough
the red dragon negotiator should be taking a leak. Wire him. Leave the body in
the sewer, and take his amulet. If you want a little more time, wire the red
dragon negotiator first, then come back to the basement. You can distract the
police officers by the basement by shooting the nearest taxi, which sets the
alarm off.

Head back to the restaurant. Go down to the basement (walking this time, don't
cause a fuss), go up to the gas control and sabotage it. Leave the basement,
and go to the sewer ladder just to the north. Climb down it and get the rat
poison. Make sure the chef's in the basement and climb back up.

There are some guards watching the kitchen door. Distract them away from it
(running around usually gets them to turn round, the idea is to get them to
look away from the entrance to the kitchen), walk around the restaurant, sneak
up to the door and pick the lock. If you want to be more dramatic, you can dis-
tract them by shooting the nearest taxi.

If you prefer, while the chef's trying to fix the boiler, sneak up behind him
and syringe/wire him. He should drop a key to the kitchen, walk out of the
basement, and go in through the kitchen door (no need to pick the lock, so no
need to distract the guards)

Go inside, and when you're sure nobody's looking poison the drinks. Put the
drinks on the hatch and ring the bell. The waiter will take the drinks up, and
you'll have finished the objective. If you're feeling crazy, wait until the
waiter's back's turned, and take the drinks up yourself.

For an altogether different approach, as soon as the level begins head up to
the alley where the red dragon negotiator takes a leak. Wait for him to do his
business, sneak up behind him and wire him. Dump him in the hole, take his
clothes and amulet, leave your weapons.

Go into the restaurant and talk to the bartender. Get the toilet key and leave.
Go collect your weapons.

Distract the guys guarding the kitchen door as before, and go up the ladder
(sneak, you don't want to be heard). Climb in through the window, come out of
the toilet, and shoot the targets.

A third option is the sniper rifle. Wire the negotiator while he takes a leak,
as above, hide him in the hole, take his amulet, but not his clothes. There's a
building southwest of the restaurant with some ladders and some scaffolding.
Climb as high as you can on the scaffolding, and head to the end of the plat-
form you're on. You should be able to see right into the restaurant.

When nobody's looking, unpack your sniper rifle, and train it on the targets.
Wait. They move their heads around as they negotiate, and occasionally they
line up. When this happens, put a bullet through both of them. Ditch/pack up
the sniper rifle and walk away.

If you like sniping, there's some bamboo scaffolding which gives you a shot at
the red negotiator taking a leak. There's a ladder up to it which you can see
on the map. Whichever method you're using, you should be able to fit it in in-
stead of wiring him.

Objective 2: Plant the Amulet
*****************************

If you're not dressed as the negotiator, go back to the negotiator and take his
clothes. Leave your weapons here. Go in through the front door of the restau-
rant, up to the table, and leave the amulet. Leave through the front door and
escape.

If you don't like the way the negotiator dresses, and you're already dressed as
the chef, rather than going to get his clothes, wait for the bartender to take
the drinks and follow him upstairs, remaining out of his sight, and hide behind
the table by the bathroom as he serves the drinks until he leaves. When the po-
lice chief and blue dragon keel over, walk up and drop the amulet. Leave as the
chef the way you came in (the bartender will be wiping the bar and won't notice
if you sneak).

If you are already dressed as the negotiator, then you're probably already in-
side the restaurant. Plant the amulet and be on your merry way.

The Easy Way: The sniper rifle. Definitely the sniper rifle.

Silent Assassin: Any of them can get you silent assassin, with a few provisos.
If you go in dressed as the negotiator, you need to kill them with a shot each.
If you use the chef's disguise, you can't kill him. Short of doing something
silly, you should be fine with the sniper rifle.

Mass Murderer: The sniper on the roof has an R93, but everything else is pretty
standard. If you've managed not to pick one up yet, the blue lotus negotiator
has an UZI.

Hi, I have this problem with my dell inspiron N 4010 laptop. Whenever i want to play games on my laptop it either crashes down or after the game is over i get a "Optimum resolution error...

The LCD monitors and laptop monitors nowadays have a 'optimum resolution'. The monitor likes to work at a pre-defined resolution.
Games play at a resolution previously set. Usually this differs from the optimum resolution of a LCD/LED screen. Then this error message will appear.
However, crashing of the computer might happen due to other reasons.
*Defective RAM *Not-so-good VGA *Viruses

You have to make sure the above problems are not the reason for crashes.
Also try playing somewhat older games. If the problem occurs due to your VGA not supporting the new games, older games will work fine.
Try these suggestions and let us know.
Good luck, and thanks for using FixYa!

When i click on training it causes a crash dump

here are instruction to fix crash dumo to your sega football manager 2011

Step 1shock.gifpen up your steam
Step 2: Go onto your games list
Step 3: Right click on Football Manager and select properties
Step 4: Select the Local files tab on the far right
Step 5: Click the option Verify integrity of game cache
Step 6: Click the option Defragment game cache
It should now be complete

this worked for me

I'm sure there are other people out there who have had there game destroyed by Crash Dumps errors, sometimes screwing your save, sometimes even preventing you from starting new games forcing you to re-install only to come across the same problem later down the line.

So here is my 2 part guide to Crash Dumps, part 1 is how to set your game up to minimize the chances of your game ever getting this error, and part 2 is what to do to recover your save (If possible) and get your game back to a working state if you had this error already. Part 1 pretty much lists all issues that cause Crash Dumps and to set your self up to prevent it from happening.

Crash Dumps Prevention

There are certain things that increase your chances of getting an error, here is a list

1) FMRTE - Just dont go there, it screws your data base up beyond repair, you will not be able to get your corrupt save back if you have used this editor. Sometimes its been to known to cause damage to your windows registry too, unless SI make an official in game editor, using third party programs like this is all to risky stay away.

2) Size of Game - Even though I believe I have found the solutions to 99% of crash dump issues, it does not change the fact the game is not without major issues, the games coding causing endless memory leaks that lead to Crash Dumps errors.
So what I'm saying is try to go easy on your database size, either slow or at most medium size data base when starting a new game.
Also dont go crazy with the amount of leagues you select to be playable, if you have a good system 10 leagues at max.
If you must have lots of leagues and large data base I recommend you have at least 6GB of DDR2 or DDR3 ram, if you have an older system DDR ram will not cut it for crazy data base sizes.

3)Everything Up to Date ? - Make sure the following are up to date
+ Graphics Card Driver (Use manfactures site, sometimes windows will not find the most up to date driver)
+ Java - Make sure you have the latest Version
+Direct X - Latest Version your system is compatible with

4) General Settings in Game These are optional but I recommend you use these settings to prevent errors.
Uncheck the following boxes
+Use Skin Cache
+ Enable Data Collection (This is an important one, it will stop FM constantly building up the RAM useage and prevent Crash Dumps)
+ Play in Windowed Mode, Minimize, and Maximize Every Hour.
+ Disable sounds, and 3D cameras, the 3D sucks anyway text all the way.
+Play with Autosave weekly, 3 file rolling save for back ups, better safe than sorry.
+ Uncheck Threading, if you have a Dual Core processor, you do not need this to be checked, it takes away a complication. However if you have one processor with Threading technology keep it ticked, other wise the game performance will be poor.

5) Your Hardware Before Playing FM 2010 you need to be confident your hardware is all fully working, so you can rule that out if you need to trouble shoot in case you get the Crash Dump.
Consider and do the following before installing the game

+Power Supply - Is it at a high enough Voltage for my Graphics card ?, find out and upgrade power supply if need be, you should not be using a Graphics card if your power supply is under the recommended amount, your system will become very unstable, let alone Football Manager.

+Hard Drive Error Free, run Chkdsk, a windows tool to see if your hard drive has any errors.
To run chekdsk press the windows button and R, then in the run box type in CMD, the in the black command box type in chkdsk and press enter.
You should have a report of no errors, or windows will fix errors

+ Faulty RAM - This was the culprit for me, run a program called MEMTEST86, you need to download and Burn it to CD, restart your PC with the CD in the drive and let it scan.
If you are error free all good, if not note which RAM slot is reporting errors, remove or replace that RAM.http://www.memtest86.com/

+Dust Bunnies - Your system would be unstable in general if you have these, if it is a little unstable check the innards of your PC for obvious dust, blow to free dust from sensitive areas.

If you ever get Blue Screen errors while browsing, gaming, multi tasking, then Football Manager will certainly Crash Dump you ***.

Okay if you follow all these steps prior to installing your game you are very unlikely to get the crash dumps error again.

It crashes

try the following
Please start with these steps when you are ready to troubleshoot the cause of the crashes you are experiencing.
  1. Check the Minimum System Requirements If you have never played the game before on your system, it is crucial to double-check the system requirements to determine if your system can run the game. The minimum system requirements for each game can be found on the game's page in the Steam Storefront.
Check the DirectX and Pixel Shader Requirements for Games on Steam topic to make sure that your system meets the minimum requirements for the game you are attempting to play. Many newer games such as Team Fortress 2 and Portal require greater system resources than Half-Life 2.
  2. Verify Your Game Cache Files Please see the Verifying GCF Cache Files topic for instructions to ensure game cache file corruption is not the source of the crash.
  3. Rule out Background Applications and Anti-Virus/Security Software Check the Programs Which Interfere with Steam, and Spyware, Adware, and Viruses Interfering with Steam topics to ensure the crash which you have encountered is not related to malicious software or a specific program which is known to cause issues with Steam.
Certain Anti-Virus applications such as AVG 7.5, Nod32 and Norton have been confirmed to cause instability with Steam and Source Engine games. This software must be fully uninstalled from your system until the Anti-Virus software developers can resolve these issues. If you are not comfortable with using alternative Anti-Virus protection, then we recommend contacting your Anti-Virus developer for more information.
  4. Do Not Use Two Sound Devices Simultaneously If you have installed a PCI or USB sound card on your system (such as a Creative X-fi or Audigy sound card), please ensure that your motherboard's onboard sound card is disabled in the system BIOS. Having both installed may result in system instability - even if the secondary device is disabled in the Windows device manager. Please consult your motherboard's manual for instructions on editing BIOS settings.
  5. Routers and Firewalls Can Also Cause Crashes Check the Router and Router Firmware Issues topic to make sure that your router is properly configured and that you are running the best possible firmware version available. If your router is not configured correctly, it can cause crashes both in Steam and in games.
Firewalls can also lead to crashes depending on the way they are configured. Please follow the Using a Firewall with Steam topic to make sure your Firewall is properly configured.
  6. Force the Game Settings Back to the "Factory Defaults" Those custom autoexec.cfg files and graphics tweak guides you followed promised all kinds of improvements, but if all you ended up with are crashes then it is time to restore the original game settings for stability. In order to do this, make sure you are not running any custom autoexec.cfg files when the game starts up and use the -autoconfig launch option. To set this option, follow these steps:
    • Right-click on the game you're attempting to play
    • Select "Properties"
    • Click "Set Launch Options", found under the "General" tab
    • Type in: -autoconfig
    • Click "Ok"
    • Launch the game
  7. Mss32.dll (Miles Sound System) Other PC games may install the Mss32.dll file in your C:\Windows\System32 directory. This can lead to the game crashing because the Mss32.dll file in your Windows folder is conflicting with the file located in the game's directory. Please see the The MSS DLL is incorrectly installed in the Windows System directory topic for instructions on how to remove the file from your System32 directory.

Your hardrive has probably crashed. I have been trying to fix mine and after weeks of studying, i found out I need a new video card. If you have demos then my problem may be yours too. If you are trying to play games and it crashes, then it's the video card. The only game that works with a broken video card is Street Fighter 4, but you can't save. Visit this link for better instruction on how to fix non-video card problems. I hope it helps!
