w19e (2006) 12 year old relic, legacy monitors, sure. CCLF junk.''
(1440 x 900). (not over this resolution)!\
HP does not sell parts this old !!!
get a new monitor, fixing cost more than new and for sure refurbs at $50. (unless labor is free, ? even then too much)
first off its too old ,
the CCFL are no good now.
"back lamps"
are you going to replace those. some are near impossible to remove and not wreck the LCD array.!
1: turn off power saver and timer in the menu OSD yet.
that is first first. (the book shows this feature missing) yours.
2: then does the flash light trick show there is data there, omg
the data is there, the CCFL lamps are dead. or the inverter.
see your boards here, see the brown one bottom 2 cream connectors. those are the 2x 500vdc power jacks to the CCFL tubes
if that is dead, ebay has it for 15 bucks. (what deal no)
but if the tubes are bad good luck there.
the first test would be the flash light test
why own such a monitor if the ccfls can not be removed.
I avoid them all an buy 2010 and newer with LED backlamps.
