Canon printer ix4000 service error 5C00

The printer suddendly stopped working and the service error 5C00 appeaed on the screem. Despite repeated turn off-on the error persists.

Focus on the purge unit,remove it from the printer and better check the two gears left and the sensor.

You have a carriage error or a purge unit error or main board, the error code refers to those 3 things you would need to take it to a canon service shop for them to have a look to track down which one it is.

It is carriage error, purge unit error or main board problem.

Take it to Cannon or service center to fix the problem.

If it is too expensive to repair, just buy another unit.

Sometimes it is better.

If still under warranty, then claim your warranty.
