Looks like your card is damaged - or connector is malfunctioning. Try to clean your SIM's contacts with a gentle pencil eraser first. If it doesn't help try device with the other SIM card. If it able to read another card, just replace yours in yours carrier's store.
Hi.Insert another sim card to your phone and try.if this doesn't solve , clean the sim card slot connector.Otherwise you need to contact a mobile technician. And if another sim card is working in your phone and your sim card shows Rejected to every phone, then the last solution is to change another sim card from the particular sim card provider.Good luck
Take our the sim card and wipe the copper area with a soft cloth. Re-insert and then check. If it still doesn't recognize, try inserting the sim in some other phone. Also try some other sim in the galaxy s2. This would ensure whether its the sim or device thats faulty.
one reason might be is that , your phone might be network locked and hence it is rejecting other SIM, If that is the case try unlocking your phone to use other networks, http://www.theunlockarena.com/ will help you with the process
i have a friend almost has the same problem as yours with N73,
and when it turns on it wont even send a single message.
try cleaning up the sim slot and the sim card itself, and if this doesn't work you'll need to take your phone to the nearest nokia service center.
(please vote for me)
Using the sim card from your tracfone in another phone is possible if both of the phones are unlocked. This means that the sim card if inserted into any phone, that phone will recognize the sim card. If you place your Tracfone sim card in any other carrier's phone and it doesn't work you can call trachoma and they can unlock the sim card.
try to reinsert the SIM and check if it works, You may press and hold the power button while the battery is removed. If it doesn't work, kindly contact nokia bout this issue
