I have the player, memory question...

I see in the manual it will take a 1gb sd or mmc card 8mb-1gb ...which is better? Also, I see in some places it might take a 2gb card ...will it ? Which one (sd or mmc or both)? Thanks!

the sd 2gb transcend works fine for me. I purchased it on eBay for $12.50 s/h incl. I just saw a post from someone who said they had a 4gb card working in it, so I ordered that on eBay for $24.51 s/h incl. and will report here what happens when I stick that in the m25 ...what a cool device!! By the way, I got it on eBay gently used for $27.05 shipped!! I'm having fun!!

I've had a 1gb sd car for two years or so and never had any trouble. I'd like to hear the answer on the question whether 2gb cards work, too, though.

Where can I buy a SD/MMC 1GB memory card?

1GB SD cards are almost impossible to find these days. Some drugstores and supermarkets may carry them, but most department, electronics, and office-supply stores don't carry them. You should be able to buy 2GB SD cards at those places. Unless you specifically need a 1GB card, a 2GB card will work just as well.
If you're willing go buy online (and pay for the shipping), you can still find some. Here's one example.

I just purchased a SanDisk 8 GB SDHC card for my Kodak EasyShareC743. When I inserted it, it said it needed to be formatted, I hit continue, then is said it would delete anything on the card, I hit...

The C743 works with MMC and SD cards, not with SDHC cards. While SDHC cards will fit into the slot, they are electronically incompatible. You need to go with cards 2GB and smaller.

What kind of sd memory card I should buy for a sanyo and could it use a multimedia?

Your camera can use an SD memory card up to a maximum capacity of 1GB. It is completely incompatible with later SDHC cards, but will accept the earlier MMC (MultiMedia) card which preceded SD.

1GB SD cards are now getting hard to find in shops, but you can still buy them online quite easily. Stick to major brands, and bear in mind that if the card you choose claims to have any speed advantages over a basic model then your camera is unable to take advantage of those benefits.

You can download a .pdf manual for your camera from Sanyo for free by clicking here.

I hope that I've helped, please return the favour by taking a moment to rate my answer.

What kind of san disk card does an hp photosmart e317 take?

The E317 uses MMC and SD cards, from SanDisk or any other maker. The manual recommends SD cards, as they are faster than MMC cards. The manual also states that only cards up to 1GB in size are supported.

I'm missing the camera card. How do I get a

This 5MP (Megapixel) camera has 16MB built-in memory and has an SD card slot.

Your camera uses either MMC of SD memory cards.
Radio Shack, BestBuy, Fry's, Office Depot, Office Max, has them.
Start with a 1GB SD card (Don't use MMC).

A 1GB card will hold almost 500 pictures at maximum resolution (5MP).
(Fry's is lowest cost, then Best Buy)

Sd card

It can capture still images to SD or MM card.
SD or MMC removable memory card. Depending on the compression and the selected resolution, the camcorder can record 220-880 JPEG images on a 32MB memory card or 45-190 on 8MB of memory.

SD MMC CARD

Simple either u can ask for a SD memory card or MMC memory card, the difference is that SD cards are bit costlier than MMC. Hoping a good rating from you.

You can go for 1GB or 2GB memory capacity.

Thankyou
