1GB SD cards are almost impossible to find these days. Some drugstores and supermarkets may carry them, but most department, electronics, and office-supply stores don't carry them. You should be able to buy 2GB SD cards at those places. Unless you specifically need a 1GB card, a 2GB card will work just as well. If you're willing go buy online (and pay for the shipping), you can still find some. Here's one example.
The C743 works with MMC and SD cards, not with SDHC cards. While SDHC cards will fit into the slot, they are electronically incompatible. You need to go with cards 2GB and smaller.
Your camera can use an SD memory card up to a maximum capacity of 1GB. It is completely incompatible with later SDHC cards, but will accept the earlier MMC (MultiMedia) card which preceded SD.
1GB SD cards are now getting hard to find in shops, but you can still buy them online quite easily. Stick to major brands, and bear in mind that if the card you choose claims to have any speed advantages over a basic model then your camera is unable to take advantage of those benefits.
You can download a .pdf manual for your camera from Sanyo for free by clicking here.

The E317 uses MMC and SD cards, from SanDisk or any other maker. The manual recommends SD cards, as they are faster than MMC cards. The manual also states that only cards up to 1GB in size are supported.
This 5MP (Megapixel) camera has 16MB built-in memory and has an SD card slot.
Your camera uses either MMC of SD memory cards.
Radio Shack, BestBuy, Fry's, Office Depot, Office Max, has them.
Start with a 1GB SD card (Don't use MMC).
A 1GB card will hold almost 500 pictures at maximum resolution (5MP).
(Fry's is lowest cost, then Best Buy)
It can capture still images to SD or MM card. SD or MMC removable memory
card. Depending on the compression and the selected resolution, the
camcorder can record 220-880 JPEG images on a 32MB memory card or
45-190 on 8MB of memory.
Simple either u can ask for a SD memory card or MMC memory card, the difference is that SD cards are bit costlier than MMC. Hoping a good rating from you.
