I have a sharp xea40s cash and i cant get 11 thru 20 to be taxable i can program them and all that but will not add tax

In department programming, there will be an option to add each tax (tax 1, 2 , 3 etc.) turn on the tax that you set the rate for - usually tax 1 - for each of the departments that need it.

I have a TE-2200 Casio cash register. I try to program in tax rate and nothing happens. Can someone help

If you have changed the tax rate, it should print out the change you made to confirm the change as soon as you finish programming. After that, it should use the new rate. If it is not adding tax to items, make sure you have linked the tax rate to the items in PLU or dept programming (whichever you are using)

Programming of the casio pcr-t275

Hi program the taxes like the book says but fix the gst rate, then go to program mode and push 1 subtotal, then push t/s1(taxtable 1 which is gst) and the dept number you want to use, then subtotal and cash and that will be the dept you will use for just gst. Hope I'm making sense. Took me forever to figure this out.

Changing tax rate on the casio te-2000?

Hi.
I don't have the USA version, but most states just use fixed rate tax, so I can probably help you.
I need you to print the current tax so I can see how it has been setup.

Turn the key to Program mode.
3 SUBTOTAL SUBTOTAL (must press subtotal twice)
Make sure you turn back to REG mode.

This will print a list. Look down until you see 0125 through 0325 on the left.
Tell me what the figures are on the right of those three. There is usually three sets of figures for each. don't worry about anything else on the print out, just the info next to 0125, 0225, 0325.

How to program tax rate for te-2200

Hi. If you bought it new then your dealer should have set all of the system options for you so it is strange that the tax is not programmed. Normally you would only need to set the rate when your tax rate changes. Has it been calculating tax at all? Did it come from your dealer with a standard program in it?

Tax button

under the GT button at the top, switch that button to the "Rate"..enter whatever % tax rate you want. Then move button back to off setting.

enter your number and hit the plus sign, then the tax+ button or the tax- button. it will automatically figure the tax for you. You may have to play with it a bit..I got the pdf version from the canon tech geeks, and the directions leave lots to be desired. Good Luck!

CASIO TE-3000s , i would like to change the tax rate on my "grocery tax" button.

Hi.
Try turning the key to program mode then,

type new rate (you may have to add decimal places such as 8.00 or 8.000)
Then press your grocery tax button
Then press SUBTOTAL

Turn back to REG mode, and try it.

Let me know if it doesn't work.

Need to change tax function on Sharp EL-334A

I had the same problem and finally figured it out. Here's what you do:

Press C-CE twice
Press +TAX (Rate set)
Key in your new tax rate as an integer (e.g. 5)
Press +Tax (Rate set) again
Press C-CE

Then you're ready to calculate with the new rate!

Now what's the GT button for?
