If you remove the front fabric cover by levering it off using a flat head screw driver, it will reveal the screws to open the speaker up. This is the same for both the left and right speakers. How to open left speaker - 2_6_2016_3_29_16_pm.jpg

Hello...my left speaker doesnt work

Hi,
It might be a wiring issue or your computer. What speakers do you use in general? Because I have the same problem now and it seems like the wiring is loose inside, so I can only get it to work by twisting and turning the wire for now.

So yeah
Try doing this:
Open up your left speaker and see if the wiring is disconnected. If it is, connect it using a soldering iron. It might be in the wire line that goes into the speaker. If not then the speakers or the circuitry inside is dead. Replace it.

If you do not want to replace it then try:
Go into your computer (in Windows), right-click the volume icon and click Playback Devices. Click on speakers (it should have a check mark on it), then click Properties. A box will open up. Click on Levels and click Balance, then check if the slider with an L is low or all the way to the left. If it is low then turn it up. If it is not then right click on the volume icon again, and this time click Open Volume Mixer. Hover your mouse over Speakers (or in some cases headphones) and you should see the brand (in my case it says VIA HD Audio). Go to the website and look for the latest audio driver for your PC/Laptop. Install it, and if it fixes the problem, GRET. If not, then replace the speakers, the left speaker is dead.

Or maybe it is not connected......check the connections.

No bass in righthand speaker

First try swapping the cables and put the left speaker cables in the right hand amp output and the right speaker in he left output. If the problem stays in the right hand speaker and does not move to the left as I suspect should, then it is a problem with your speaker crossovers. You may have to open up the speaker and check the wiring and then crossover. If the problem changes and appears in the left hand speaker you have an amp problem.

Only two speaker are playing sounds

I'm using Windows 7 with Sound Blaster Audigy 2 and I had to; right click the speaker icon, left click "Playback devices", left click speakers, in lower left of box left click "Configure", then left click 5.1 surround. And of course there's more. Go into programs and open the Sound Blaster "Audio Console" and left click "CMSS 3D" and look under "CMSS Modes" , if OFF is listed in the box click on the down arrow and change it to CMSS. Now all speakers work just fine.

I have a Sanyo DCTS760 surround system. A couple of weeks ago i got a loud static noise coming from the front left speaker. I tapped gently but forcefully on the top of the reciever cabinet and this ,...

Hello,

if the left front channel is not working, first test the speaker with the right channel that is working to make sure the speaker is still good.

If the speaker is good, then it means the fuse of the left channel has burnt. Open the receiver and check the left channel fuse.

Good luck.

My left speaker doesn't work but my right speaker does. The cord to the left speaker is plugged in all the way.

Open the "Volume Control" applet & make sure the "Balance" setting is set in the middle of the scale. This way sound will go out through both speakers.

I lost sound on one side of bose stereo system., Seems its the power ouput on the right side speaker, i changed speakers and the right one works when plugged into the left output. How do I open the bose...

first lets check
no need to open any thing

1) just trace the wire of working channel and plug out that and connect to opposite side of that channel

for example: if front left is not working, remove pin of front right and plug it into front left

after that listen the sound if front left is working then no need to open amplifier just check the wires of satellite speaker which is not working

how to check broken wire:

1) just observe your speaker nearly if you found any screw holes open it, if u can not find any screw holes remove front net which is fitted by press lock or any stepped groove, you can remove that and if you are removing front net you have to open speaker from casing then after you can find speaker's wire shouldered or bolted to it just check wire and go on after that u'll be sure that weather your speaker is failed or wire!!!

enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
