my washer stops at 19 min and then when it goes into a spin it says it is rinsing and takes for ever to finish any suggestions

dcritchfield Rocks! I had the same problem and their suggestion worked. Watch out, lots of water, get a large baking pan and be prepared to sift through a fist full of pocket parts!

I had the same problem and your solution eliminated the problem. I will do it at least once a year as a maintenance process.

    Thanks

The same thing happened to our washer and a friend told us to take off panel below door and there's a opening that's covered with a circular plastic cover, open manually and remove all the junk that's accumulated from all washes, careful it may leak a great deal of water! Try that if anything else, unless you've already had it serviced!

I'm looking to try and solve yet another issue with the same washer...

When washer starts it usually makes a clicking noise know it is humming and nothing happens the door is locked and wont open

your main belt is broken or loose i would suspect the latter, the reason the door will not open is the machine has started a wash cycle and because the belt is not able to finish the cycle the door wont open so the progam is not finished, switch the machine of at the mains and the door will open after 10 mins. But the problem remains the belt.please rate this answer thanks.adrian,,,,,,,,,

Wont start (door lock light not on) & stops 10 min into cycle

Sounds like the door micro switch is out. You can check this by opening the door & pressing in switch lever with your finger should feel a clicking almost like popping a knuckle on your finger no clicking switch is bad. If switch is bad you will need to have it replaced. You could bypass switch but with all electrical parts it could be dangerous if you do not know what your doing. Switch $2.00 to $13.00 Labor is where they get you.

One minute left

be sure water is draining out before spin starts if necessary remove bottom panel and clean pump out and ck hoses to pump be sure there are no excess suds ..wash only full loads small loads or loads with 1 heavy item will cause washer to sense off balance and try to balance load this will extend cycle time

Door won't lock and washer won't start

means your doorlock is either not alligned any more or you need a new door lock. Not overly easy to put in but it can be done.
Door latch can be obtained here and drawing is HERE
