The frame count is displayed on the panel atop the camera. See page 21 of the manual: http://butkus.org/chinon/nikon/nikon_n65/nikon_n65.htm

Leica Mini 3: When you open the back of your camera, does the counting of your pictures start again? Or is it a problem with my camera?

No, the counting of pictures on the Leica Mini 3 does not start over when you open the back of the camera. The camera uses an electronic frame counter to keep track of the number of exposures taken on the current roll of film. The counter should only reset to "S" (or "1" on some models) when you load a new roll of film. If you are experiencing a problem with your camera where the frame counter is resetting to zero when you open the back, it could be an issue with the camera's electronics or mechanics. In this case, it would be best to have the camera inspected by a qualified technician to diagnose and fix the problem.

Projection lamp is nearing end of life. What does this mean?

Most of these sets the lamp has a 2000 hour lifespan and there is a built in counter keeping track of how many hours the set has been on; Most of these sets when you change the lamp you need to have information to get into the Tech menu to reset the timer to zero.

Some sets that lamp lasts longer and some less.

Sony DSC H-7 resetting picture counter when downloading

That's what the camera is supposed to do. If it always started back at 1, you wouldn't be able to download new pictures because your computer would keep telling you that those pictures already exist.

Auto focus will not always lock on subject not allowing a picture Some times several pictures can be taken with the auto focus working all the time then it will not lock and allow a picture.

It happens when the AF area is aimed at a part of the picture which has no contrast (white wall, sky, etc.) I don't know your camera but some have a special setting for when you are following a moving object. If you have this feature it should keep tracking the part of the picture you focused on originally...

Events taken

Events are not the same thing as pictures. I am not sure what makes the event counter move but I have 17 of these cameras and have used them for several years and most of my cameras have over 1500 events. I think an event is logged when it takes the first photo but an animal can remain in the area taking more photos which will show on the picture total. The evnt counter must have to be dormant for some period before it will register as a new event. Let the camera cycle through each counter and I believe the picture total is displayed after the events.

Don't worry about your event counter just the picture counter. I hope this helps.

Pictures are blur

Hi,

Your pictures are blurry because the camera did not focus properly on the subject.

First, turn on the camera in any picture taking mode (or video mode), then look at the screen or viewfinder. There should be four white corners in the center of the camera display. This is your targeting area.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Aim the camera at your subject so this center area is directly on it.

2. Press the shutter button lightly, not all the way down. Wait for a second or two WITHOUT RELEASING YOUR FINGER. If the white corners turn green, keep the finger on the button and press it all the way.

(Once the screen flashes black, a picture is taken and you can release the finger).
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If the targeting area turns red and blinks, then the camera has not focused. You can to try to focus again by following step 1 and 2. If a picture is taken when the targeting area is red, then the picture will be blurry.

If there is no targeting area, then you can still focus by aiming the camera at your subject. Now follow step 2. A green box will appear on the subject, then a sharp picture can be taken.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The red arrow that flashes means that the pictures or videos are being written onto the memory card.

Also, try to be steady when taking pictures, because slight hand movement can cause blurry images too.

Page 25 in the DMC-FZ7's english manual will also explain how to focus.

Cannot access pics

Once you took pictures without a memory card, all pictures taken will automatically be saved on the INTERNAL MEMORY of the camera.
When taking pictures with a memory card, all pictures are just saved on the memory card itself.
If you are seeing 100-757 on the LCD screen. It means that there are already 757 pictures taken from the first time you've used the camera.
It is possible that some of the pictures are in the internal memory and some are in the memory card.

STEPS to DOUBLE CHECK:
1) Remove memory card out of the camera
- Turn on camera
- View pictures on the internal memory
by just pressing on the PLAY mode button
(lowest of the 3 little buttons)
- Pictures seen are just the ones saved on the internal memory

2) Return memory card back in the camera
- Turn on camera
- View pictures on the internal memory
by just pressing on the PLAY mode button (
lowest of the 3 little buttons)
- Pictures seen are just the ones saved on the memory card itself

*** If you want to transfer pictures on the internal memory of the camera to your MEMORY CARD, you just have to follow the steps below:
- Make sure there is a memory card inside the camera
- Turn on camera
- Press on PLAY mode button to view pictures
- Press MENU/OK button
- Keep scrolling to the right until you see COPY TO CARD
- Select YES using the arrow keys
- Press MENU/OK to confirm
* When you've done these steps, all pictures from the INTERNAL MEMORY of the camera will be copied to your MEMORY CARD but it depends on the space left on your memory card

** If still, you could not view the pictures, it's possible that the pictures are really gone when you have transferred the previous pictures to your computer.

** Once you have transferred pictures to your PC, and you have deleted those on your camera, the FILE NAME of the pictures will not start from 100-001 again unless you have reset the file name on the settings of your camera.

In example, i already have 256 pictures on my camera so the filename reads 100-256 for the last picture taken. And then i decided to transfer those 256 pictures to my PC and i deleted those immediately after being transferred. So, as i took another picture, FILENAME will start with 100-257 if i have not reset
the FILE NAME settings to 100-001.

Hope i've helped you enough.

Try resetting the counter by pushing and holding the two rewind buttons simultaneously ( red symbols ), one on each side of the top cover. Then open and close the film door.
