Make google your homepage

In Internet Explorer. Go to Tools in the upper left hand corner, then in that box click internet options at the bottom. A box will pop open.

In the top of that box will be an address. Delete it and type www.google.com then hit ok at the bottom. Do not hit apply, hit ok. Should be good to go. Open a new webpage to make sure it stuck.

As a side note, if you don't see the line on top of your screen that says file, view, favorites, tools, and help do this...right click with your mouse on the top of the page ABOVE (not in) the address bar and make sure "menu bar" is checked.

Tool bar moved t right and is large

Right click on the task bar (I assume you mean the bar that is typically at the bottom of your desktop?)
Make sure "Lock the Task bar" is not checked
Click on the border of the task bar
drag directly from where you clicked to the bottom
Adjust height accordingly

Missing the tool bar on document page

Maybe I can help you. I' m not sure what program you're using but a typical place to find the on/ off toggle for toolbars is in the "VIEW" tab usually at the top of your screen in a word processing program such as Microsoft Word.
There you shoud see your options under 'TOOLBARS"
Let me know if this works for you

Tool bar missing on computer

Assuming "tool bar" = Task bar
and your OS = XP
It's possible your task bar is hidden on bottom
just drag the bottom line of your screen upward
Check if your task bar properties are set to "hide the task bar" remove the setting
