I am replacing the entire mirror fixture.

  • Anonymous May 11, 2010

are you replacing just the mirror, (if so see: www.burcoinc.com goto 'redi cut' then 'instructions') OR are you replacing the entire mirror head assembly?

  • Anonymous May 11, 2010

is it just the glass part of the mirror or is it the whole mirror with the fixture ?

SOURCE: need to replace drivers side mirror

not so difficult , there should be a piece of trim straight in from mirror on inside of door, remove trim behind should be nuts holding mirror on.

Try partstrain.com they sell aftermarket replacement parts, mirrors look like origionals but alot cheaper

SOURCE: 2001 Infiniti QX4 low beam bulb replacement instructions

Look directly behind the headlight box if there is a rubber sleave covering the plug take it off. Unplug the wires from the bulb, there may be a saftey clip you will have to pry up to get it off.after you get the plug off the bulb holder should twist counterclockwise then it will pull right off. When you change the bulb just remember to wipe your body oil off the bulb before attaching it back into the headlight box. Then plug it back in and your in business. The high beam has three wires and the low beam has two wires. The bulb will have to be the right one.

SOURCE: Replace passenger side electric mirror

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door

Need to replace driver's side mirror-1999 Nissan Quest

directly behind the mirror on the inside of the door there will be a plastic triangular cover, this cover will unclip with a little bit of prying with a flat blade.
Behind the cover you will see a few holes in the panel, in at least 3 of those holes you will see bolt heads, thes have to be removed but before you do there is a multi wire plug that you need to seperate if you have electric mirrors.
once the bolts are removed you should be able to remove the mirror
