I am not quite clear if you want to change the Network Name or the broadcasted SSID (the information a wireless client can see).
I would change both, so a client or someone who wants to connect to your network can't see right away that you have a Belkin router.
First log into your router's web interface.
http://192.168.2.1(default), password "admin", username "admin" (als default) or follow the instructions on the screen, if you have never logged in before.
To change the network name, click on "LAN Settings" in the left pane.
Under "Local Domain Name", you can specify a personal name for your network. (I would always change the default "Belkin" so something else.)
To change the SSID, click "Chanel and SSID" also on the left pane a little bit further down. Here you can make changes to the wireless network name (SSID), operating channel, and encryption security settings.
Don't forget to save any changes you made!
