Go back to Windows 7. Trust me, Windows 8 is worse than ME.

Had win8 went back to win7

Drivers can be found here:

You probably need the Network & Chipset drivers, but make sure you get the right ones for your model.

How can I install Windows 8 on my computer with M2N MX SE motherboard?

Hello try the asus homepage here:

http://support.asus.com/Download.aspx?SLanguage=en&m=M2N-MX&p=1&s=24

The vista drivers should work, when you install windows 7 again.
The files has to be unziped, before you install the driver.
But that does not mean the drivers will work on win 8.

Here are the other models of the mainboard:

http://support.asus.com/Download/ModelList.aspx?SLanguage=en&keyword=M2N-MX&type=1

Consider to buy a new mainboard, that supports win 8.

A new mainboard cost around 100 dollars, and the cpu aswell.
You maybe have to buy new ram, because all new mainboards have ddr3 ram.

Good luck

I have upgraded to WIN 7. I'm unable to use A HP G85 Printer w/this new application. Do I need to purchase a printer that is compatible w/WIN 7

OK, well according to the HP website there are NO Win7 Drivers available for that particular printer. Now you could try to install the existing printer drivers in "Compatibility Mode for XP SP 2" however even if you DO manage to get it working, it most likely will NOT allow all functions.. as it is not a Win7 driver.
If it were me, I would indeed obtain a new printer that was instantly compatible with Win 7, I would also entertain the idea of a Wireless Printer as well, this makes a printer much more versatile.

I've a problem with built-in microphone in my toshiba satellita a200 - 1m5 laptop (win vista from manufacturer) , it doesnt work after i'd installed win7, i try to update the high definition sound driver...

Unfortunately, some functionality can be lost in a laptop when upgrading to windows 7. I lost the ability to use the touchpad button for scrolling on my Acer laptop, but found a way around it by using the side scroll bars instead.

I was told that I had to wait for an updated driver to be released, but everything I tried outside of that didn't work for this driver device problem.

I checked the manufactuer, Acer, and also the touch pad manufacturer, and tried other drivers to no avail.

I suspect that you can use vista drivers in win7 but it's a **** shoot when upgrading an older computer. Sorry about that.

HP pavilion a400n PC not booting....

1. Did you you run the Win 7 simulation prior to upgrading to Win 7? 2. How much RAM does your PC have? I just checked your specifications http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?lc=en&lang=en&cc=us&product=391284&dlc=en&docname=c00057188
Your computer takes a max of 1GB RAM and the minimum required for Windows 7 is 2 GB. This PC is not fit for Win 7. Sorry.

Epson Perfection 1200 Scanner Driver Needed for Windows 7

I posted this for another user but i'll post it here too,

I remember looking for hours for a driver for my Epson 1200 scanner back when I upgraded by dad to Vista 64 Bit, eventually I found one. Just today I upgraded him to Windows 7 64 bit and remembered I couldn't get it to work, luckily I was able to dig up the driver I used for Vista 64. Worked great in Windows 7.

I can't remember where I found it so I can't credit the person who made the driver unfortunately, however i've uploaded it to Rapidshare for you to download. Here is the link:

http://rapidshare.com/files/324940248/epsonScan_1.0_Per1200Win64eu.zip.html

Just open up the zip file and run the setup. :)

Hope this helps, Merry Christmas!
