Faxes sent from PC do not delete from print queue.

Set up a Brother IntelliFAX 5750e to be used by 12 users within one office on a Wide Area Network. Users wanted to be able to fax from their PC's so set static IP on device installed device to local TCP/IP port on each PC and installed Brother PC to Fax software. Faxes are sent to the print queue and transmit fine but do not automatically delete from the queue when finished. Users must manually delete each fax sent from the queue before sending the next fax. I?ve tested possible security and hardware settings but no fix yet. I?ve even tested with a base WinXP install, security disabled ? still no improvement. I thought to disable bidirectional support but don?t seem to see where or if possible. Can you offer any advice?

Vertical Streak on my sent faxes

Open up the document feeder and clean the scanner glass. If the streak is larger than 1/4 " wide, you have a bad scanner block.

I am getting a black 1.5 inch band down the right side of my fax transmissions. Help please...

If the band is on received faxes, the problem is a dirty drum or corona wire; if the band is on sent or transmitted faxes, the problem lies in a dirty scanner.

Is there a way for me to leave a date/time stamp when sending a fax on my intellifax 1940CN?

if you enable send report you can get an a4 page with time and date confirming that the fax has been sent, but when set up it will print for every fax. the other option is to have it print on error only and you can manually print report of sent recieved items( all date and time stamped) with the number sent to as a list.

Sent faxes not printing clear

Per Brother's User manual,
http://www.brother-usa.com/ModelDocuments/Consumer/Users%20Manual/UM_IntelliFax_4100_4750e_5750e_EN_98.PDF

Clean the machine’s interior and the primary
corona wire of the toner cartridge This is a common cause for your printing/copying problem. This should solve your issue. Best of luck.

The power went out at the office. when the power was restored my brother intellifax 5750e will not work. there is an error 77 message displaying on it's panel.

you can try this. press "menu/set" " *2864 " within 2 secs. then press "01" and wait for a few seconds until "para init" goes away. then press "99" and when you see "please wait" unplug machine. wait for 15 secs. and plug back in and see if it comes up. if not, then you have a hard error and must have serviced.
good luck,
razors

How do i get my brother 5750e to print to the front tray

There is a flap (for the lack of a better word) in the back that when pushed down routes the prints to the front tray.

Poor line condition

It's the number of faxes your machine has printed and sent out.

Also you should have a Drum Life Counter.
