After I charged my zune it froze up on me. It wont turn on or off. What can i do to fix it?
Have you guys been to the zune website? apparently ALL 30g zunes melteddown. this happened around 12am/2am everywhere
even if u let the battery die it will still be frozen when u charge it. some people were popping the case off and messing with stuff and i worked for a bit but froze up after a while. microsoft is "apparently" working on a solution.

My zune froze everyday and then it dead and i ahev to charge it again and now it won't even turn on :/ it shuts off and freezing nad does nothing.. it been doing it for the past three weeks
Let it kill it's battery, then recharge it & it should be fine. Mine did the same thing! You might want to get an AC charger. Charging via USB is slower than dirt.
I have the same problem, it is completely frozen and will not turn on or off even after I charge it. It appears to be completley frozem, help!

I had this problem this morning and since tech support was closed I decided to fix it myself. Pull the back case off the zune and unplug the battery for about 30 seconds. Put it back in and back together and it should work. Not really sure why this works but I think it's got something to do with mangled data in the RAM and since there's no off switch there's no real way to turn it completely off to clear the RAM. All I know is it worked for me and a friend who was having the same problem this morning.

all you have to do is let it go dead and then wait to hook back up to sync cable it will start charging again and function like normal

If it went through the wash, open everything you can and let it dry out for AT LEAST ONE WEEK. Water can get into a lot of areas that are hard to dry out. Since you already tried to turn it on, it might be destroyed.

Mine froze up too while it was playing a song. The screen froze up and I couldn't turn it off. I pressed all the buttons including the lock. It finally shut off by itself and came back on.

i tont turn on i can see the words but thers no light and it wont move
my zune won't move past the zune logo screen.
