Time synchronization not working

Hello First I'm warning You that my English isn't very well. I have a problem with time synchronization in Windows XP. I have about 20 PCs in my local network and all of them synchronize time from the same local server. Some of them has right time but some others has time about +3 minutes to server and I don't know why. I've changed registry entry on every PC to sync time every 30 minutes. In one of the PCs with wrong time I can see a message in time settings window: "Time was succesfully synchronized from xx.xx.xx.xx (IP address) at 2013/07/23 at 06:07 Next sync will be 2013/07/23 at 06:37" So I was waiting until 06:37 and the message has changed to: "Time was succesfully synchronized from xx.xx.xx.xx (IP address) at 2013/07/23 at 06:37 Next sync will be 2013/07/23 at 07:07" But only message has changed, the time is still + 3 minutes and didn't change after auto synchronization. After this I've clicked a button "Synchronize now" and this helped. Time is correct, but tomorrow time will be wrong again and I'll have click this button again. Why time is not changin while auto sync every 30 minutes? How to fix it?

In thinking about this, we need to first consider what is different about those systems which gain 3 minutes from those which do not. It is obvious to me that since the auto-sync is the problem and the manual sync works, it is not that the system isn't automatically syncing to the right server, but not really syncing at all....so therefore their must be something wrong with the auto-sync.

Given that I would suggest you read http://www.thewindowsclub.com/windows-time-service-not-working-synchronization-fails-error
which, while not specifically addressing your problem gives you several palaces to look and compare the working versus non-working systems.

Hie my Skmei watch 1227 its not connecting with my bluetooth for android phone but it was connected before

Hello, Admire this problem can happen from time to time, for example, it stops synchronizing when being out of range of the receiving device, the application that synchronizes stops, etc. We must have enabled this application that works in the background (very important) I leave a video as a better example.

Have just bought an Elonex ebook colour 705EB and been trying to reset date and time as they are wrong... done as said on Manual go into Settings choose Time and Date setting... change the date and time...

Hope you read this message. I just noticed your message today on this site.
I bought an Elonex 705EB for my mum and had the same problem. It's not pressing the select key that changes the time. You must correct the time then press Menu button on yes (I had to press twice in row before it worked). I don't know why it works different from the manual. I found this out through a lot of trial and error!

Where does the cam position sencer located at

It's officially called a CMP Syncronizer.
There are stern warnings on the page associated with this.
CAMSHAFT POSITION (CMP) SENSOR Removal & Installation
CMP sensor is located on rear of engine, behind intake manifold. Before removing, note position of electrical connector on CMP sensor. Remove upper intake manifold. See UPPER INTAKE MANIFOLD . Disconnect CMP sensor. Remove CMP sensor screws and CMP sensor. To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure CMP sensor electrical connector is pointing in original direction. Tighten CMP sensor to specification.
2 . Failure to use synchro positioner during installation will cause fuel injection to be out of time and may cause engine damage.
CAUTION: DO NOT rotate crankshaft when Synchro Positioner (T95T-12200-A) is positioned on CMP synchronizer. Armature tab will be damaged and synchronizer timing may be shifted. Removal
1. Position crankshaft to TDC of cylinder No. 1, on compression stroke. Note position of electrical connector on CMP sensor. 2. Disconnect negative battery cable. Unplug harness connector from CMP sensor. Remove CMP sensor screws and CMP sensor from positioner. Remove synchronizer hold-down bolt and CMP synchronizer.
Fig. 2: Exploded View Of CMP Synchronizer Assembly (Typical) Courtesy of FORD MOTOR CO.
CAUTION: DO NOT rotate crankshaft while synchronizer is removed from engine. Installation
1. Install Synchro Positioner (T95T-12200-A) on synchronizer housing. See Fig. 3 . Rotate synchronizer shaft until vane on shaft aligns with slot on synchro positioner. Rotate synchro positioner until engaged into notch in housing. Dip drive gear in engine oil.
Fig. 3: Installing Synchro Positioner On Synchronizer Assembly (Typical) Courtesy of FORD MOTOR CO.
Fig. 4: Positioning Synchronizer For Installation Courtesy of FORD MOTOR CO. 2. Rotate sychronizer assembly so that synchro positioner is 60 degrees counterclockwise of crankshaft centerline before inserting synchronizer assembly into engine. See Fig. 4 . 3. As synchronizer is inserted into engine, synchronizer will rotate. When seated, synchronizer electrical connector should be located in original position.
CAUTION: If CMP sensor electrical connector is not positioned correctly, DO NOT reposition connector by rotating synchronizer. This may cause fuel system to be out of time with the engine, causing possible engine damage or an engine misfire. Remove synchronizer and reinstall. See step 3 . 4. Install hold-down clamp and tighten bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Install CMP sensor to synchronizer and tighten to specification. Ensure CMP sensor electrical connector is in original position. Reconnect wiring to CMP sensor. Connect negative battery cable.

How do i reset my service engine soon light in a 98 pontiac grand prix

If the "service soon" is turn on, this is a warning about "maintenance time" (filter and fluids change); this warning light isn't the same that "check engine".

Hope helps.

Each time I try to log into my yahoo mail, I get a certificate error warning and often times, I'm unable to log in at all.

Hello

You could try following steps:

Strange as it sounds, your systems' time must be synchronized to the actual time. Although your cert's may be current, the time is unsynchronized, & doesn't match the sites certificate parameters.

Right click the system tray time clock> Adjust time & Date> Internet time> Update now. (Make sure your system is set to 'Automatic Synchronize...' while you're here)

Another possible fix:

With Internet Explorer, go to Microsoft Updates, then select the 'Custom' button (not the 'Express'). That will tell you all specific updates for your computer (hardware & software) and in this case the certificate updates.

Good luck

and do rate the solution if got help

System time

Syncronizing the time will set the BIOS time to the synced time aswell.

Syncing the time does exactly that it just changes the time on your system to the time of the server you are syncronzing with.
