I just got one from a friend of mine and we dont have a manual so i went to the honeywell site typed in the code HDH-165 and it comes back with nothing. kinda frusterating as i need my place to be cool and was told by gettong one of these it will take the mold smell and tthe heat out.

I have a Honeywell hdh 125 dehumidifier and I can't get it to turn on. What are some possible solutions to this problem?
try a different electrical outlet. turn it on and set it at highest reading then reduce the setting to the lowest.
if still not running, unplug it and fiddle with the high level
contact or switch on the bucket. seat the bucket properly then plug it back in to test if it works.

However, before you use this dehumidifier, go to https://www.recallrtr.com/dehumidifier . Use the drop-down menus to select Danby and the model. Then enter the serial number and make sure that this unit doesn't have the manufacturing flaw that could cause a fire.

Unfortunately, Delongi doesn't list an Owner's/Operational Manual for your model dehumidifier. However, you can contact their Customer Support Dept at 800-322-3848. They can provide you with the Error Code solution, as well as email you an Owners Manual. Be sure you have the correct model number for your unit, before calling.
