Acd3 treadmill belt wont move

So, I was running on my treadmill and the door bell rang. I stopped it, and when I came back up and pressed start the belt wouldn't move. Everything else works. I am training for a race, I need it fixed asap. Any ideas what it is? I live in a super small town, so no readily available repair shops or people

Hi There.
A treadmill belt can shift to the right or left over time. If it shifts enough, this may cause the belt to stop moving. Stand at the back end of your machine and inspect the belt. If it has shifted, you will need to center it by turning the rear roller adjustment bolts. These bolts adjust both the tension and the centering of the belt. Follow the instructions in your owner's manual that explain which of the two bolts you need to tighten or loosen to shift the belt back to the center.
If the belt is too tight, it could cause enough tension that the motor can't turn the belt. This is most likely the cause of your belt not moving if you recently adjusted the belt tension due to slippage. Lift the edge of the belt. If you can't raise it at least 2 to 3 inches off the walking deck, the belt is too tight. Follow the directions in your owner's manual for loosening the belt. You will need an Allen wrench to loosen the rear roller adjustment bolts.
If the troubleshooting does not get the belt running again, you may have a tight motor belt or a bad motor. You will need to remove the motor hood to access these parts of your machine. If your treadmill is still under warranty, contact the manufacturer for a professional repair. You may void the warranty if you attempt to work on the motor yourself.

If everything still works but no belt movement, you motor controller is more than likely shot. If replacing you want to also pay attention to the deck and belt. Sence it sut down while running, it sound it an over heating problem which is usually caused from too much friction between the walking belt and the deck(the board under it) May require lube or may need replacing.

Most likely a bad drive belt. Take the cover off the motor area. If you see black dust near the left side of the motor, replace the drive belt.

SOURCE: Treadmill Incline Works, belt does not move

Check the drive belt. It may be loose or broken. If the belt is loose, then to tighten the drive belt, start by removing the front cover. loosen the bolts around the motor then tighten the drive belt by tightening the motor adjuster bolt. Once the drive belt is tight, tighten the motor back down.

Usually a spark means you have a problem with either the drive motor or motor controller board became damaged. Unplug unit remove the motor shroud physically inspect the motor and board for any signs of arching then replaced the board. Next use a multi meter to check continuity of the drive motor by removing the red and black leads that attached to the board if a reading is much more than 1.0 to 2.0 ohms then your motor is also damaged need to be replaced.

What does lube bell mean

Hi,
Either your treadmill has a typo or....well, it's LUBE BELT.

Go here: http://www.horizonfitness.com/support/customer-support

Download the manual for specific model and it will describe how to lube the belt. There may be a RESET procedure required to turn off the message and turn on the treadmill.

I currently replaced the walking belt on my C954i/C956i treadmill. When I plugged it back in and turned on the power, the treadmill has no power. What could have happened?

Dear Sir:
I can read you trouble, and follow the next steps:
ALIGNING AND ADJUSTING THE RUNNING BELT
The correct alignment of the running belt is critical to the smooth operation of the treadmill. The belt is properly aligned at the factory. However, during shipping and handling or by use on an uneven surface, the belt may move off center and require a few simple adjustments. Before aligning the running belt, check its operation by following the procedure in Checking the Alignment of the Running Belt. If you determine that the belt needs alignment, follow the instructions here. CAUTION: Special care must be taken when aligning the running belt. Turn OFF the treadmill while adjusting or working near the rear roller. Remove any loose clothing and tie back your hair. Be very careful to keep your finger or any other object clear of the belt and rollers, especially in front of the roller and behind the deck. The treadmill will not stop immediately if an object becomes caught in the belt or rollers. Realigning the belt takes a few simple adjustments. If you are unsure about this procedure, call Precor Customer Support (see Obtaining Service.) Take the following steps to align the running belt on the treadmill. To ensure your safety, make all adjustments while the treadmill is OFF. 1. Make sure the treadmill is OFF and the running belt has completely stopped. 2. Locate the right belt adjustment bolt in the rear end cap of the treadmill. (To determine left and right, stand at the rear of the treadmill and face the display.) See Diagram 24. The direction you turn the bolt depends on how the belt is tracking. Make all belt adjustments on the right rear corner bolt using the hex key provided. • If the belt is off center to the RIGHT, turn the adjusting bolt ¼ turn clockwise, which moves the running belt to the left. • If the belt tracks off center to the LEFT, turn the bolt ¼ turn counterclockwise; this moves the belt to the right. Important: Do not turn the adjusting bolt more than ¼ turn at a time. Overtightening the bolt can damage the treadmill. 3. Turn the unit ON. 4. Stand beside the treadmill and press QUICKSTART. 5. If you are prompted for a password, press INCLINE ??¼, SPEED ??¼, SPEED ??². The running belt starts automatically after the 3-second countdown appears on the display. 6. Press the SPEED ??² key until the display shows a speed of 3 mph (5 kph). 7. Walk around to the rear of the unit and observe the running belt for a few minutes. The belt should run centered along the running bed. If the belt drifts off center, you will need to make adjustments. CAUTION: If you hear any chafing or the running belt appears to be getting damaged, stop the running belt immediately by pressing the red STOP button. Contact Precor Customer Support. 8. If the belt needs additional alignment, repeat steps 1 through 7 until the belt is properly aligned. 9. After aligning the belt, press the STOP button and RESET. Turn OFF the treadmill. Tighten any loose fasteners or other components on the equipment. If you hear unusual noises or you feel that the treadmill is in need of repair or service, contact Precor Customer Support. Refer to Obtaining Service.
Finally, check if the power cord is loose, connect it again. a) See if the breaker of Home is tripped? b) See if the breaker of the Treadmill is tripped. If do the Belt is very Tighted! loose a little. Try again.
Thank you in advance, if you need assistance, you can contact me, Blessing. sincerely.

My tunturi T 20 gets error code E 7. it starts up, and after 5 or 10 seconds, it stops and flashed the error code. I have tried the recommended solution, which is to unplug the treadmill, wait a minute to...

From time to time, error codes will pop up on your treadmill. It just takes a quick second to clear the error log and get the treadmill up and running again.
1.When the treadmill is not in use, press the "Stop," "ENTER" and "QUICK START" buttons in rapid succession. The "RESET" button can also be used, in place of the "Stop" button.
2.Press the "ENTER" button three times to access the treadmill's error log.
3.Press the up or down arrows to scroll through the error codes, if necessary for club or personal logging purposes.
4.To view the treadmill's odometer reading when a particular error code was elicited, press "SELECT" while a particular error code is displayed.
5.To clear the error log, press "QUICKSTART" for a minimum of four seconds while viewing the list. Prompts will appear on the display and let you know when the log has been deleted.
