Remove the screws. Remove the battery tray. Disconnect the heater blower motor switch resistor connector. Remove the heater blower motor switch resistor (18591). Remove the two screws. Yes you car has something like a resistor but its called an ATC BLOWER CONTROL MODULE.Its under the dash on the pass side close to the firewall.

No the motor is not bad or going bad, the heater blower motor resister is bad, thats regulates the blower speeds, its located under dash by heater motor 2 screws hold in heater box with a electrical plug to it.
