Ariston fridge/freeser BCB31AA

Call out the warranty supplier. Where is the noise coming from? If no warranty, check the electrics to the compressor and fan. sometimes the noise is the fan. Also switch off overnight and leave doors open. When restarting, if the noise has gone it will have been the internal fan hitting on ice buildup.

Noise some times and fans dont work some times

99 out of a hundred times - when the fan motor on a window unit 'makes noise and works intermittedly,' you have a bad fan motor which will require replacing.

Sounds as if the fan motor's bearings are making noise - which - would account for the fan working only part time. The reason being is that the 'bearing noise' you are hearing - is a result of the bearings being wore out - thus it causes the fan motor to heat up and 'go off' - on the internal overload' which is built into the fan motor.

Like I said above - most commonly the 'fix' is to replace the motor.

There are 2 reasons for noise.
1. Internal 2. External.
1. Internal noise, replace compressor.
2. External noise. Check comp seating bushes are not worn out/ fan blade not cracked or bend

Set keeps turning off bearing noise coming from fan

99% it's getting TOO HOT and shutting down.
Place a external fan blowing into it too see if that helps.....if it does......do the following.
The noise is most likely the internal fan failing.
Disconnect it CAREFULLY.and use a strong computer fan instead.

Compressor of the Ruud A/C outside unit is making unusal loud continuous noise. I open the case, its not the fan or fan motor, loud noise is coming from the compressor, and it is also heating up a lot....

OK, you will need to replace this compressor. the internal seals have ruptured, causing the loud noises. the heat is from the metal to metal friction. the compressor can be rebuilt but, it will be more costly than just replacing it with a new compressor.

The noise is coming from fan friction and vibration. Running compressed air through fan components can help reduce noise pollution from dust buildup. Brush-less CPU/GPU fans are significantly quieter than the brush-motor powered fans that come with some factory electronics. Furthermore, some computer cases are designed with noise reduction in mind; Antec designed cases are know for being one of the quietest because they use patented bushings to secure the computer hardware. Moreover, make sure internal wiring is free and clear of all fan blades.

FREEZER SOUNDS VERY NOISY

that because the internal fan is hiting the ice or has bad bushings you can hear the noise just with the door close because when you open the door there is a switch the one turns off the internal fan so when you close the door it turn on the fan again if you wants to hear that with the door open just open the door and push the botton swich with your fingers and you'll hear the noise

Seagate SanMax 120GB external with fan noise

It depends on the noise. It should be still under warranty. You should NEVER operate it without a fan as this is a safety hazard. If it is making a noise like a buzzsaw, it is most likely the bearings of the HD mechanism. If it is making a scraping noise, it's likely the fan. Make use of the warranty if/while you still can!
