Microwave runs and heats some but not as hot as it should or used to heat. Oven is a EWAVE model KOT 151S. During a recent storm snow blew in vent and water dripped into oven and onto turntable. Has not heated as it used to since. Thanks

shows a "data plate" on an interior wall of the microwave (page 7.) That may be where the serial number (S/N) for the microwave is printed.
If not, there may be a label or tag at the back of the microwave oven where the serial number (S/N) is printed. Or, there may a label on the back of the microwave oven, look on the bottom.
The part that makes the heat isn't too expensive. It may be a fuse . If it is then you have to find the cause of it failing. You don't say whether it's a table top or over the cook top style microwave. If it's over the cook top it's a chore getting it down for service. Check an appliance repair company to see if the repair costs are way less than the cost of a new one. If it is then go ahead with the repair.

We see (and repair) this

we regularly repair nationwide by mail for $39.95 postpaid in about a
week or so.

our Web site, you can get details of our service, plus we have a video
available showing how to remove a typical
over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.
This light failure often
occurs when a bulb goes out and the filament
shorts, or when the bulbs are removed or installed without first
unplugging the oven from the power line. Either can cause such a
failure on the controller.
The lights can can be
inoperable or stuck on or no bright, too. Sometimes this will similarly
affect the exhaust fan operation or inside light, too.Feel free to contact me directly (and please remind me of your
full model number from the tag on the unit) for more information & help.

Thanks for responding. It is a EWave KOT-152UW. I think EWave is part
of Magic Chef. I think it is the door switch. When I opened the
microwave, the circuit breaker tripped. I reset the circuit breaker,
and it worked for several days, but the last time, the microwave went
dead. The reason I want to use the same bracket is it has through the
wall (horizontal) venting to the outside, and I am not keen on trying
to cut more holes.
