The disc carrier you're looking for is Part No 7002058 (the number may be stamped somewhere on the holder itself). It's like a circular/figure 8 kinda looking thing on a shaft. If you're in Australia I'll be able to help get spares.
Don't recommend using glue to repair due to stress breaking it again, and for food safety issues.
I found the Braun wesbite for Canada, http://www.braun.com/us/consumer-service...

There is a plastic nib that sticks out of the mixing bowl lid. it must be latched into the top right hand corner of your machine for processor to operate. its a safty switch.
Help, I have a multipractic circa 1990 which I haven't used since 1997 and now cannot for the life of me switch it on. I have misplaced the handbook, does anyone know if I can still get a handbook for this model or just a simple how to switch it on. thanks, blonde female!

It solved my problem, YES and NO. YES, it told me where to get the part but NO to how to get it from Australia. I presume the cost to get the part from Australia would not be warranted.
Thanks for the warning about using glue.
Thank you very much for the very prompt reply to my problem request.

Thank you, however both Rowland's and Personal Edge told me Braun is no longer supplying parts for this model. And have not been doing so for the last 1 or 2 years. I find this an incredulous way to drum up profits by making you buy a whole new food processor. My next one certainly will not be a Braun . Ditto for their other products.
Thank you again for all your attempts to help me with my prolem.
